get the hell out of DES !!!
  • Sold 2/3 at 11am and put it into XEL for the flow test, the RNS was ok but then after rereading it had a negative undertone and I don't like it. I will have some cash on the sidelines but want to wait and see how it goes before putting cash back in. It proves the model that's for sure and the basin is now there but I don't think this is a commercial find.

I agree with you about DES. Although the RNS is positive(ish), there's clearly a lot of work to make this a commercial strike. I'm not invested in DES, so don't wish to poo-poo other's commitments, but I think XEL is now primed for something really special. :D

I think you are right. However, I would be wary of buying at +330p.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Those who already own XEL and want to offload would want to encourage others to buy, those who genuinely want to buy more would be keeping quiet or offering factual advice in unemotional language.

DES RNS isn't really that positive, it says there is 50million down there which is probably just enough to make it commercial but really and truly its a high risk, and again the MM's take the micky

the SP has only gone up to 130 !!! my advice avoid

XEL - betty is on site I believe, bond flights to the rig have been confirmed and flow tests I would expect results within the next week or 2 tops

oil barrell conference 9th, will they release an RNS before then to steal the limielight ???

I don't want to offload, and I don't want to buy more? I can sell my stock (if i wanted to ) first thing on Monday without encouraging anyone on here to buy??? Sounds like you overestimate our importance....

If the flow-rate is good or bad then what private investors decide to do will be irrelevant.

Me neither. I don't offer any advice, buglawton (factual or otherwise), you should always do your own research. What is said here really doesn't make any difference to the shareprice, unless you have a six figure sum to invest.

Who in their right mind would want to offload XEL at the moment?
  • Sold my XEL from trade account and bought them back into a trade ISA so some of these puppies are CGT exempt now, feel far nicer knowing that the tax man ain't getting any if XEL become the next Dana!

Good luck to all holders, this time next week we could be very happy indeed and I will be holding on until they go into production or are bought out by one of the major NOC's.
  • DES duster! Oil was there now it's water! Glad I got out!
