ALl you need is on that site, news is due anytime on whether BMR have secured extra tailing in Kabwe, if the acquisition goes ahead then their current marekt cap is way under valued and a rerating is due.

Interesting, I've had a private broker note and this (very small) broker is urging his clients to buy as much XEL as possible. Crazy advice imo though i'd have to agree :-O (if you've got a good few quid in reserve jsut in case the rig blows up or something!)

Ah but is that because someone knows something or someone needs to offload their holding because they know something else? ;););)

They certainly "seem" to still have legs, I have to admit. I've bought and sold twice already for a more than acceptable gain, but I've bought yet again and they're still generally heading upwards. Came close to £3 early today before dropping back by lunchtime, then up to £2.94ish mid-afternoon and back down to £2.8675 at close. Think I'll hang on longer this time, just in case ;)

I got in BMR yesterday after reading so much good news about them. Every piece of news released seems to be positive and I keep thinking there must be a catch somewhere! $$$ to be made I think.

I'm expecting XEl to issue an RNS on Monday (they always issue them then???) wrt the flow rate.

I hear ignis had to sell some stock since their XEL holding had exceeded 10% of the total fund value, which is against the rules.

Do you not think Monday is a bit early for flow test results? I don't think the tanker is due to arrive until today, so they'll have to go some to have results by Monday. I agree however that if they thought things weren't going to be good that they wouldn't have commited to that rig, with it's big penalty clause.

It's starting to look very good though. I'm already sitting on 4.3x my investment, so my original 10x estimate looks quite possible.
  • Do you have a drilling schedule for xel. Im interested how the share price corresponds to events
