New to claiming tax credits

Hello all, im wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice...
I moved in with my partner and she notified HMRC about the change of circumstances and they made us make a new claim together, the man on the phone told me that i was eligable for WTC, he even told me how much I'd be entitled to and that was £182 a week. the thing is, ive read that you have to work 16 hours min to be eligable, i only work 15 (i told him this) two 7 and a half hour shifts per week (my work wont give me an extra hour to make me eligable) but he said based on what i told him from the info on my p60 that i was eligable.
he sent me the form in the post, we filled it in, ive posted it off and theyve said to me today that the processing of the claim will be completed on tuesday.
am i going to get in trouble because of the 15 hours a week thing?
im worried
Andy

did you put on the form you only work 15 hours per week?
If so you've nothing to worry about, you wont get any wtc.
if however you put 16 hrs p/w, phone them immediately in order to rectify this0 -
since making this thread a short while ago, ive spoken to the HMRC and told them about it again, also that my work have agreed to give me the extra hour i needed, so thats problem solved right?0

ok, so now I'm annoyed.
spoke to the HMRC on the phone and theyve told me that our claim will be dealt with by tuesday and we will be getting our award notice shortly.
I went into work on thursday night and was told that the extra hour i needed to work to get WTC that i was told that i could have has now been took away from me and this now makes me ineligable for WTC.
I hardly think the asda/walmart empire is gonna crash because ive asked for an extra hours work is it...
really so upset by this, me and my partner whom is heavily pregnant moved in together, we had to make a new claim for CTC and now WTC as the income support people said my income of a paltry £93 a week is enough for us both to live on so they told us to claim the WTC and CTC.
really dont know what to do0 -
