    Are they right??
Yep, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Of course you could put them back on the shelf.

In this case they do know more than you. You were asked a straight question and just waffled and acted like you have your head stuck up your fat a** simply because you are staff.

One: there's no need to be abusive - just because you don't like the reply.

Two, thought the reply did answer the question, or did the questioner expect chapter & verse from a Law book!?

Three - how do you know "in this case they do know more than you"? Seems not - otherwise why ask the question in the first place, and others have pointed out the fact that a new promotion cancles out use of the coupon.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

If they did accept the coupon it'll be put through the NS/Green bag which would result in a loss for the store.

NS/Green bag in cash office was withdrawn a while ago. All vouchers now go in one bag to be sent off. They do not need separating.

Not sure what type of store you work in Jill but it looks like either you are still on the old system or your cash office need to read the memos more often. :)

For some reason SelfScan checkouts have a slight bug in the Software that handles coupons, It was from when they imposed the coupon restrictions. In this case as the coupons are usually binned when sent to the clearing centre CS would usually just apply them with a receipt.

Although not an excuse for their attitude the self scan checkouts are more demanding on the staff, putting them into bad moods when theres 8 and 1 employee managing them all and 3-4 customers shouting at you it does become stressful

Not an excuse I know just thought I'd share what they go through
At least somebody realises there is a fault with the machines there. No excuse for this employee though,I was alone at the SS at the time.Maybe a rugby team had just gone through before me.

Certain stores use the green back hense me mentioning it (2064 being one)

As for NS coupons they are still seperated in the cash office and sent to a different CCC

NS Coupons and all other coupons all go in same bag now at our store. Have done for a while now. Obviously not got to your store yet, saves loads of time as they don't need sorting.

Such an unnecessarily unpleasant attitude. I bet you can never figure out why staff are never extra helpful for you, eh?

Tesco make Millions, you had a voucher and in my opinion followed the t+cs. If Tesco Clubcard and Tesco Stores dont communicate about offers then thats there problem. You were unlucky

You don't get rich by giving money away.

It's your opinion that she followed the t+c stating it wasn't for use in conjunction with other offers?

Being asked to pay only £2.49 for something she was expecting to pay £6.49 for constitutes bad luck?
