I filled the form in for my mum who does not have gas in her flat. I clicked on other which is one of the options under the gas suppliers and then they give you a empty box in wich you can put that you do not have gas.

I know it says it'll take a few months... but how long do you think that'll be?? Our fridge/freezer is well on the way to needing replacing (sometimes sounding like the road is being dug up outside!!) but if I'm in with a good chance I'll struggle on...

Sods law would be that we fork out the cash and then get accepted onto the trial! :cool:

When I applied (after the original email went out) it gave different anticipated intallation dates for each machine, but the fridge/freezer was September. I expect this may be delayed now though, as they've extended the closing date so won't have addresses for installation until later than planned.

Hear back from what?- from the application? not heard anything so far- have you heard anything? AFAIK we wont hear anything unless we are lucky enough to win and that wont be 'till they close the competition (no idea when). Would have thought then it would be within 48 hours, then its a waiting game as people may refuse/change their minds for whatever reason and others may need to be drawn. Could be a while. Not holding my breath same as I wouldn't hold my breath if I entered the national lottery.

Ive just applied,not sure if its too late or not,could do with a new fridge freezer our fridge is knackered and freezes everything unless you put it at the bottom:D Im on benefits presume that won`t help me getting one.
