EON Energy Fit Moitor

Hi Zanderman
I'm sorry you're having a problem with your energy monitor.
Must admit, this is the first time I have come across this particular problem with the Velcro pad, although it's early days yet.
The transmitter can be left as a free standing unit if safe to do so; although we do recommend a more solid attachment via the Velcro pad. Therefore, I do take your point.
The batteries in the transmitter should last for approx 7 years, so the number of times the battery cover needs to be removed should be kept to a minimum. The transmitter is also fairly robust and the battery cover should stand being taken on and off without breaking too easily.
I will gladly feed this back to the relevant people and would be grateful if any one else out there with similar problems lets me know, either on the forum or through the email address in my Profile.
So far, we have sent out over 125,000 of these units with more on order. Therefore, I can't promise any immediate changes but if this problem proves to be fairly widespread it will help me focus the techno's attention.
Again, sorry to hear of your problems Zanderman but hope this helps a little.

My cd/dvd reader on my laptop is duff and I want to try the software. Does anyone know where I can download it?0
-
You can download the software here:
https://www.eonenergy.com/At-Home/Products/EnergyFit/StarterPack/Software.htm?WT.svl=4
I've got it up and running and tried to download data for the first time today but the following happens:
1) connection is hit/miss
2) when connection is recognised dowload is apparently successful
3) despite successful download, graphs are blank sometimes
4) when there are graphs, they cannot be read because the text is blanked out
5) despite there being graphs, no detailed data is apparently available. Cost info is blank.
Not impressed with the software so far.0 -
