EON Energy Fit Moitor
Hi All,
Got myself one of the above, great little gadget to make you more energy aware. However I do have a question that I have not been able to find an answer to that someone in here might be able to answer.....
In the top left corner there is a little lightning flash symbol, acording to the guide most homes should only display one, however mine displays 2 symbols. what does this symbol mean? and why do I have 2?

It probably indicates that its picking up the signal from two sensors.
Maybe next door has one .That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Hi Haggis440.
This was a good question, and having not had the opportunity to see one myself yet, I didn’t know the answer.
I have been asking around and I have been told that the display shows two ‘lightning bolts’ depending on which of the adapter connection jacks on the transmitter device you plug the sensor jaw into.
For some reason the transmitter has been made with three connection jacks on its base, any of which the sensor jaw can be plugged into, depending on which connection you use the number of ‘lightning bolts’ changes.
None of this has any affect on the functionality of the device.

I guess if you had a 3 phase supply to a property you could use 3 sensors and monitor the consumption from each.
My old Electrisave had that facility, although not applicable to most domestic setups. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Hi,
I ordered my energy monitor around 3 - 4 weeks ago. I know it says it will take about 28 days but I was just wondering when people received theirs?0 -
I ordered mine three weeks ago... nothing yet.0

Hi Guys,
Sorry about the delay with the Energy Fit packs everyone, these have far exceeded our demand expectations and as a result delays are being experienced.
Customers requesting packs now are being advised of a possible 90 day delivery time frame.

It doesn't help when you eventually receive it after 4 weeks and it has to go back because the postie played football with it. I hope they don't run out.0

I was just about to order one of these devices from eon for £45 but just thought to check on here first to see what feedback was available for them.
Good job I did as 90 days is a bit long to wait, I would have received another shocking quarterly bill by then.
I'm sure my electrics are dodgy so was hoping to get one of these little gadgets to determine what's using the most power within the home.
Can anyone recommend a good alternative?0 -
