i still think you've said something that wasnt in your last quote a slight error could mean a big price try co operative ive never had a better insurer they only give basics as no breakdown no car replacement but they have always lowered my insurance year by year but try to avoid middle people they rip you off theres alot of answers you give changes quotes try it to see i think insurance should be a standard price not haggling and detailes over and over just one price for age sex not were you live or what alarm you have
I think you should find the full stop key before suggesting an entire industry changes the way it does business

We have just had renewal. it has increased from £369 to £547. we are in our early 50's have 21 years no claims which we have protected.
so using all the comparison web sites the lowest we can get is £450 ish. BUT not just this but they all have increased the excess to 600 on these quotes.
and NO we haven't claimed anything
and No we haven't changed address
and YES it is garaged
and YES we have low yearly milage as usually cycle most places thru the week
so if anybody knows what has happened this year to add the huge increase please tell.0 -

Erm, as has already been said, massive claim losses for insurers, lower returns on their investment and changing Market forces. Insurance prices aren't just about you!I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Insurers will also purchase reinsurance on their risks, so that they can cap the extent of losses. Reinsurance costs have also increased.0
