I'm presuming this is a troll post... but if not..
DO NOT get anymore debt if you are about to go for a debt relief order. That is just madness. You know you're insolvent and if you take out any further debt you're at a high risk of the DRO being revoked and you being £90 down the pan and back at square one.

You need to sit back, take stock and get a reality check. I would recommend getting professional debt advice but something tells me you'll only accept what you want to hear as I think you're the only person I've ever seen who's described National debtline etc.. people who are trying to help you for absolutely nothing.. as a**wipes.

There is no magic get out clause. You need to deal with the situation instead of ignoring it. It certainly seems as if you're not taking the DRO application seriously at all, just seeing it as an easy way out. Do you actually understand the consequences of getting a DRO and the risks/restrictions? I'm guessing probably not. Where did you get your information about DROs from if you refuse to deal with debt charities because of them being a**wipes?

Do away with the advice. If person is real then they are complete waste of space. Someone has to say it. Not only are they content with sponging off the 20+% we all pay in income tax. They claim they are living "below the poverty line" - With a PS3 and Sky.

They don't mind debt, so leave the OP to it. Go find all the payday loans you want. I just wish I was the bailiff knocking on your door.

Hi im getting the DRO through CCCS.

I know all the info about it and how it remains on your credit file for 6years like all other debts do but then is wiped off,
you qualify for 1 if you have less than £50 disposable income per month (so basically automatic qualification if you're on benefits),
and that you pay £90 to get it done.

Do you know how long the gap between getting your final loan out, and starting the DRO has to be though please??

Cos i know it takes roughly 8weeks from when you fill in the form to when the IS issue the DRO to write off the debt,
but so if i took out a payday loan today for example, then started the DRO tomorrow including that loan,
    would that disqualify my entitlement??

And if so, how long do you have to wait from taking out a loan to when you can start the DRO??

    Thanks

It is an offence to take on further debt if you believe you are goingto go bankrupt or enter a DRO. The fact that you have already spoken to a charity about it would be all the proof that was required to charge you.
    Again
Any chance of getting a job?

I live well well below the poverty line, and thats not my opinion, its a solid fact!!

The poverty line in the UK for a single adult with no kids is £115 per week AFTER housing and council tax costs have been deducted!

I have only £60 per week after ive paid my rent and council tax, so am nearly 50% below the poverty line!!

Its disgusting that the government sets benefits thresholds so low to make people who claim them live in severe poverty,
but the government has always been disgusting!

Oh i forgot its so easy to get a job when there are are 100s and 100s of other people also applying for every single job that i apply for!!

I actually have very luckily managed interview for a job tomorrow morning as it happens,
however getting a job which pays enough to even just cover my rent/food/travel to work/and basic bills is extremely difficult as not all of us live in the poor rural countryside or little villages like everyone else on MSE seems to!!

:jat last the twondk bites, you get a job you can still get h/b c/t and most likely wtc so better off working and not everyone lives in lovely thatched houses in the country as you seem to think of people who are intelligent and willing to spend time trying to help imho you deserve all the crass comments and debt you can find yourself in with no help :mad:

I dont think even Provident would lend to someone with 5 defaults, and having shown no signs of repayment in 3 years. They look very closely at things like repayment history and in this case there is none.

    Also, no salary. No loan.

You can't say you are on the poverty line when you own a PS3 and Sky TV. Do you have a LCD TV as well? I bet then you will have a colour licence. These items are a PRIVILEGE not a RIGHT.

Perhaps if you had half a brain cell you might not have the problems you are faced with now. I have absolutely no sympathy for you. I genuinely feel for people who get into debt and are looking for ways to get themselves out of it who genuinely are struggling, will do anything to make ends meet and then we have lazy and totally irresponsible carefree people like you who just sum up about 10% of the population right now.

We don't all live in the country and those who do in your situation are usually a lot worse off as the opportunities for self betterment and indeed jobs are far and few between.

Maybe you should head over to the DFW/Bankrupcy areas of this site to get an idea of the heartache that genuine hard-working people go through day in day out. Look at their statement of affairs and look how most of them have already cut out the luxuries of life, like TV's and are still £100's down a month to repay their debts. That's living below the poverty line!

Just in case you didn't read this the first time (as you seem to be being selective in the posts you choose to read)

Then do read it. Its important. And then don't apply for any more credit.
