And you 'bet' on Spain winning today? How much did you lose? Seriously, you need to listen to what everyone else has said. Sell the PS3, and use whatever you make to pay off some of the debt. Get rid of Sky, go to Poundland and buy an internal aerial. You'll get BBC1 and 2, ITV and Channel 4, it's something. And you might be bored, as you say, but there's more to life than telly; go for a walk, go window shopping, read a book - it's better than getting in more debt. I know where you're coming from, it's !!!!!! when you're in this sort of situation, and easy to look for a 'quick fix'. They don't exist. We have very little disposable cash in our life, we pay our bills first and have fun second - it's rubbish, but it's life unfortunately. I hope it works out ok.
I didn't ''lose'' anything,
i merely missed out on winning £220+!:(
(It was a free £20 bet, the bookie give you the £20 free bet for opening the account with them,
if the best lost you got your £20 refunded, if it won well you get to keep all your winnings plus your original £20)
And i can afford all my living cost (including electricty) if starting from today.
However i cannot afford to pay from today's usage onwards + pay an extra £50 ontop of that,
thats why i need to get the outstanding balance cleared.
I know some of you are trying to be helpful and kind, but i honestly just don't mind debt at all.
I know it may sound unusual, as some people on here seem to panic about having debt bills,
but i personally just don't mind having debt at all as it just doesn't affect me.
Thats why i just need to get £300 - £350 cash from some kinda loan to clear this electricty account,
and then i can move on to a new cheaper company and setup a monthly direct debit to them which will go out of my bank along with all my other direct debits that i have setup already.0 -
How old are you?0

You know when some of your £11k worth of creditors take you to court for non payment and get CCJs against you?, well when you can't afford to pay those CCJs you could end up with baliffs trying to collect your goods. And trust me if they reposses and sell on the PS3 you won't find even £150 wiped off your debt. Nowhere near.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

They gave up trying to phone and write to me a about 12months ago,
as they know i don't work and so know itd cost them more to take me to court than they would get in repayments from me.
(As i would only be able to offer £1 per month repayment)
Im getting a debt relief order to write off that 11k of debt within the next 2months, as soon as i have a spare £90 to pay for it,
and so that 11k isn't an issue anymore.
Its just this £320 bill that i need to get written off asap though.0 -
How come you now want to pay for your electricity, if you haven't for the last 7 months? Also, can I get your suppliers details, as I fancy a 6 month payment break0

so cancelling it would barely make any difference.
So what, £26.50 a month?
That's still a fair bit of money towards your bills.
[quite[Plus i would not be able to watch any TV without my sky box, so id have an extremely boring life.[/quote]
Tough.
Buy a freeview box.And i only bought my ps3 6months ago and paid £230 for it.
If i sold it now id be lucky to get £150.
And so itd not only be stupid financially to sell it, but id also then have no ps3.
You would have £150 towards your bill.
Seriously mate, you need to come out of cloud cuckoo land and take control of your life and sort this all out and start living within your means.0
