i think i've made a blunder - you only get the £20 refunded if you bet on the first goal scorer - i went and put it on Germany to win - which i don't think is covered - doh0

A very big "lose" if someone goes on to get hooked on on-line gambling...
Just saying...0 -
Where did you hear that ?!?!0

i just spoke to 888 and you have to bet the money again when/if you get it back after 72 hours, so I have to place a losing bet, wait 72 hours, then place another bloody bet and that has to win then I can withdraw- what a hassle not for me.:( They have added new terms and conditions since yesterday- my advice is that Martin's email has stopped the offer- and it's best to leave this one well alone.0

Where does it say in the Terms & Conditions that it is restricted to first goal scorer bets only?chris-wilkins wrote: »i think i've made a blunder - you only get the £20 refunded if you bet on the first goal scorer - i went and put it on Germany to win - which i don't think is covered - doh0

It doesn't say anything in the T&Cs about having to rebet the refunded money though.0 -
The fact that you could withdraw your deposit after losing your bet is what made the deal for me. If you have to now place another bet then its far less attractive.reggie1978 wrote: »i just spoke to 888 and you have to bet the money again when/if you get it back after 72 hours, so I have to place a losing bet, wait 72 hours, then place another bloody bet and that has to win then I can withdraw- what a hassle not for me.:( They have added new terms and conditions since yesterday- my advice is that Martin's email has stopped the offer- and it's best to leave this one well alone.0

I placed one of these bets last week and in case anyone is any doubt about receiving a refund, read the conversation I had with them below:
Edwin has joined.
Me: So basically I put the £20 on say France to win the world cup and if they win you pay out and if they dont I get the £20 back?
Edwin: That is correct.
Edwin: You don't need a code for the no lose bet; all you need to do is make your bet satisfying the terms and conditions and if it loses then you get your money back. You can view the full terms and conditions here:
http://promo.888.com/2010/888sport/promos/WC/WC_noLoseBet_TC.htm
Me: Ok - If I lose, and you refund the £20, can I then withdraw the £20 from my 888 account to my bank account as cash if I decide not to bet it again in the future?
Me: Sorry to be so specific but it wasnt very clear from the T+Cs
Edwin: Yes that is correct.
Me: Thats great, thank you very much for your help Edwin.0 -

When did you deposit money/ make your first bet?
I phoned today also, but nothing about this was mentioned to me. The guy just said the money takes 72 hours to come into the account after the end of the match bet.0
