Free 'no lose' £20 World Cup bet

I spoke to Customer Services through Live Chat and they said the offer is no longer available yet it showed £20 no lose free bet when I joined.

Its completely misleading if you ask me. I've withdrawn my deposit without betting now.

:eek: i just signed up and was just about to make a bet, i'll leave it for now i think. Could be the person you spoke to was misinformed or something

Well I thought that but then when I went to Free Bets in My Account there was nothing there. So assumed she was right the offer didn't apply.

Can you check to see if there is anything there in your account?

Yesterday I put £20 in the account and bet on David Villa first goal scorer (lost) and I just looked now and I have £0.00 in my account.

How do I get my £20 back?

EDIT: I just re-read the T&C and it says it could be 72 hours before you get your money back.

I don't think it will show as a 'freebet' like that. You have to deposit £20 and bet that, which technically is not a freebet, it's your real money. When the refund comes it is cash in the account, not a freebet.

Wait 3 days then contact CS if not credited. Although I think I will be emailing them after 2 days to try and speed it up.

I just made a formal complaint to 888 because either way I have been given misleading information.

Spoke to someone this morning regarding the refund.

He said up to 72 hours before the refund... which incidentally you can cash out back to your bank account.


In addition - he said you placed a bet before 4pm yesterday so i was eligible for the free bet.

My account is showing £20.00.

edit: i depositted £20 into my account. I thought the way this one works is you deposit £20 and then they refund you.

I was talking about the Free Bets section of My Account but the182guy says it won't show there. I would email them to check that the no lose offer applies to your account before making a bet.
I have a feeling the person I spoke to was mistaken though.
