Surely you'd get your stake back? It said it was refunding losing bets not altering winning ones!
For those that bet on a result that is maybe 1.1 to 1.9 etc, they would lose money? I think not.
Are you sure?I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I've done Algeria to score in both halfs against England at 18/10

The banner now states:
'This offer is no longer valid today'.
Wonder when the banner / day "resets" - because at 12:15am, it's still saying all bets are taken for today...
Can't believe there are that many interested MSE members logging in for a post-midnight flutter, so wonder what time the clock ticks over ? Or maybe, from Sammy's post above (12:04am) that IS indeed the case ?

Glad that I wasn't the only one confused by this. Doesn't make sense to me as AngelsMadv said winning bets with low odds less than 2 will be losing money.
Has the offer expired now anyway?AngelsMadv wrote: »Surely you'd get your stake back? It said it was refunding losing bets not altering winning ones!

'evening all - well done to all you Swiss folk; commiserations and (I'm pretty sure) happy returns to all the Spanish.going to take this free bet on tomorrow.

Hiya farmeruk - all's good with you an' yours, I do hope.
One thing you may want to watch out for with this is the ever so bothersome "One account per household" rule thingie that appears in some Books terms and conditions.
~ All the best of luck for tomorrow.0 -

They could be digital odds, so at 1.1 that is 10 to 1 on so you would win £2 plus your stake
If the 13 to 1 is digital the true odds are 12 to 1 so a return in total of £260 inc stake
I am not sure if the odds on 888 are digital but on Betfair they are0 -

In similar games so far it has tended to be either a draw and at best a low scoring games with 2 or less goals. I think I'll avoid that.
Think I'll have an accumulator backing Argentina, Germany, USA n England to net over £100.
are you sure the no lose bet counts on an accumulator0 -
Thanks for the heads up, we had Uraguay half time full time and netted £60!
On another note we had an e-mail from paddy Power offering yet another free bet of £10, Hubby put that on 3 goals or more and the 94th minute goal won us an extra £70! Yay :-)0 -

(£20x13) = £260 profit + £20 stake back = £280
With this offer as jweb2k rightly says, you don't get your stake back so just the "profit" comes back
Hope that makes sense
You do get your stake back,as explained in my previous post.
have just checked the site they are def digital odds displayed by default but you do have the option to change them to fractions at the top of the page.
So 13 to 1 digital is 12 to 1 in fractions0
