I've been in London today, for a language meeting - 92 turned up, not bad for a Saturday morning! Probably because one of the speakers is one of the leading lights in language teaching at the moment, and well worth getting up at 6am to get there and listen to. They are also very good at providing coffee, cakes and lunch too. There were some good exhibitors too, so I came home laden with free posters, highlighters, pencils and all sorts of other promotional goodies. Nearly fell asleep on the train home though, and am definitely having an early night!

Sounds like it was a Saturday well spent - glad you enjoyed it. Could you let me know which meeting it was? I'd quite like to put it onto the calendar for next year. Might make a nice day/weekend out for my department. ;)

    Morning my fly lady friends

Well this morning is filled with the last of the pack ing and last minuite food shopping then off

So that's all for me for a week or so - see you on my return

Thank goodness the house is done, makes a nice change as ususally I'm running about finishing the cleaning in the morning of a holiday these days

BTW - I weirdly thought yesterday I never used to wash up after tea straight away and now most nights I do - not sure how I got into this routine and I've been in it for quite a while now, in fact I can't remember leaving them now. The days of leaving them to the next morning are long gone! Must the discipline the thread has given me and a subtle change I never even noticed!

See you in a week or so and enjoy Glastonbury those who are going, hugs and smiles all round

    morning all

neighbours started banging around at 7am  I didn't get to bed til 12 so was not impressed. They are so weird, sometimes arguing at 5am and getting up at lunchtime and then this. I now feel shattered and not at all ready to go and take the service at church. Oh well, I'll manage.

Still not really done any flying, I went into town yesterday and thought dh might do some hoovering but he seems to have a bit of a bug so had spent the whole time on the playstation. I am going to set the wm up this am and he can strip the bed and put it on when he gets up.

better go and get a shower I guess, mil is coming for me at 9.45.
