Good morning everyone  Where's Valli? Shall we send out a search party?
Off to help DH this morning, then we're out to friends for lunch :T:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all.
Some twonker rang the house phone at 1.30 this morning and scared the carp out of me:eek:. OH on his 40th birthday bash in Ibiza at the moment so I am the only grown up at home. I am not used to being in a night on my own
.
Normally, when my OH is at home, we take the house phone off the hook at night. Because his name and his business name begin with A, he is often at the top of people's mobile phone lists.
I have lost count of the number of times we have had bizarre phone calls from people who have accidently rung our number when the have leant on their phones (quite often p8ssed up staggering into taxis at some ungodly hour)
He has one mate who starts work at 5am. Every morning for a week as he was driving to work with his phone in his pocket, he would accidently ring us and we would hear him singing along to the radio :rotfl:.
Right, I am going to have some brekkie and then find my list and make an effortTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

Morning all,
Hope your weekend is going according to plan, Valli, and everyone else. I really enjoy keeping up with the thread at the weekend, especially as it's not too fast at the moment. Not sure I'll manage it today.
Problems with DS1 yesterday, so I'll need to find a good moment to talk to him today. He knows he was out of order, but I've got to say my bit. I'm also determined to draw up a realistic list for today, rather than set myself unachievable targets. Ok, here goes...
Breakfast
make and decorate buns
help DS2 make two cards
do HW with DS2
deliver said buns/cards
Lunch
strip and re-make 3 beds (delegate if possible)
finish laundry (3 more loads to wash, fold and put away things DH doesn't need to iron, fill ironing basket)
15 min decluttering
write 3 reports
mark 2 sets of test papers
write up lesson observation
sort portfolios
Tea
water plants
DW
have a bath
iron stuff for tomorrow
That's longer than I thought, but all stuff I need to get done, so I'll go and start with breakfast. See you all later. x0 -
Morning all
Not feeling 100% today so I may not achieve all that is on my list. I'll start with a shower.
OH is in the foulest of moods as yesterday's DIY was a total disaster. I shall not comment.

Congratulations Valli.
Hugs to Summer.
Feeling much better today. Asked Moon to do a few things for me before he went shooting, and he's done them all without grumbling either - fill my windscreen wash up, put up the washing line, and get the tools out of the garage (I'd never have found them) so that I can do a bit of tidying in the garden.
Haven't had brekkie yet, so will go and get that, get dressed, and then strip the bed and put the sheets in the wash.
Happy flying everyone,

Hello!!! Im back alive....but oh so very tired!
Thanks all so much for the wishes/support and of course the sponsorship. We were done in 24 hours so so far have raised over £1200 but are still collecting some pledges in - we think altogether we should have raised about £1500.
Am off to put my stinky clothes in the washing and find my list x
