What time? I'm just planning an uninterrupted soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine ;)

Next, have to hang up towels but not sure if it's worth hanging them outside for a bit... spose it's better than inside.

Then will cook dinner, eat, drink wine, soak in the bath, and read a book.

Now the question is, do you drink the wine AND read your book in the bath? If so, then you've just described my perfect evening (and hex's... although she'll drink tea in the bath if wine isn't available :p:p)

Bedroom is tidy. Dusty, but tidy. I'm off to sort out supper and do more tidying, in the hope that I might get gardening and cleaning done tomorrow :D (and catch up on the vast backlog of work :()

More specifically, an Ikea Aneboda wardrobe that's due for demolition? If you have, could I have the 2 small white clips that hold up the dress rail?

Ikea is quite good at providing spares by post. You could give them a call.

And mine, although I'm flexible as far as the drink is concerned. Depends on how I feel and what's available. :D
  • Decluttered my floordrobe. Sorry I can't help with the IKEA wardrobe clips short_bird- but if anyone has the runners for the three drawer chest in the range, I really need a set of them! Although the rail thingies should be able to be replaced at any hardware shop, as that's how I got two rails in my wardrobes - about a pound each usually - take the diameter of the rail with you.

Got text message from DD2. 'Could you wash more tops for me for my school trip next week please?'.

Looked in her room, discovered one lonely T shirt in the floordrobe. Decided that the panic on Sunday night wasn't worth it.

    Went into town.

Got her 3 more tops. Hennes this time.

Decluttered eyebrows. Nothing more moneysaving then threading, but darn! it stings. Went on to Boots where I got some hair dye. Deep Plum this time.

Came home AND GOT RAINED ON (thanks for sending it here, ladies!) then recluttered my floordrobe with brand new khaki T-shirt , new stripey socks and deep turquoise Converse :D.

Now just marking time before I throw a slab of something big and dead in a pan and then add it to a bowl of M&S salad.

    Actually, scratch that - it's gone 7.

I'm off for some dead cow before some guitar practice.

We wondered what the funny thudding noise was t'other night. It was one of the clips giving way and my clothes going thud to the floor of said wardrobe. Dunno whether to :D or  or  So, is that a sign from the gods of ebay to get on with the listings?

I called our local Ikea after Doctor Who had finished. They're sending me some clips! Thanks so much for all the advice.

PS re Doctor Who (no spoilers): can't wait to see how they'll get out of this predicament. Eek!:D

I've decided I'm not doing a car boot tomorrow as I'm tired and need to pace.

No problemo though as the new bags of stuff can be stacked in the shed with the rest.

I also have a pile for ebay so maybe I'll do a bit of that tomorrow.

Decluttered tea, mushroom and garlic rice and chicken curry. Yum.

If you don't want middle management then don't bother, remember they tend to want at least a job and a half if not two jobs for the salary of one.....plus there appears to be an unwritten rule that 'working hours' become very extended. Don't feel pressured and remember as things are going for us 'professional's' (ha) our salaries will be stretched beyond belief as National Insurance is due to go up as is tax and salaries in the public sector will be frozen or will see very little gain at all in the ensuing years....;)

As a former middle manager in retail:eek: and a former civil servant in a quango that got assimilated:eek::eek:, I would say if you have the slightest doubt, don't do it.
