natty Thank goodness you are tackling toxic for the money - she should have offered anyway - hope your email does the trick - WTG with the nails - thats a brilliant achievement - I am or rather was a nail biter so I klnow what its like - now that i have nice nails I love them. I love your celtic ring - we were drawing those types of designs last week and beautiful flowers - have a lovely evening.
Graaaaaaaan hi sweetie - nice to see you - your problems are no less than anybody else's - you have loads on your plate so its understandable that you might have a few bad days - great that DH is fit to go back and that Danny is wiggling along - only the baby to wait for - how exciting - remind me - do you know what she is having? I hope baby does make a grand entrance on your birthday - in the meantime chin up angel - we are all routing for you xxxxx
Oh well - that's the last we will see of the sun up here then.
:rotfl::rotfl: Aunty thats what i thought myself and its highly likely because I have even got the sunglasses on:cool::rotfl: I have had this parasol for 2 years and its only been out for 2 days up until today!!!! lets hope this years record is a bit better!:D
LadyL hi sweetie - I am pushing myself while i feel I can - you know how it goes with the good and bad days but I hear you oh lovely one and I will be good-ish!!:A I am sooooooooo pleased that Brandon has realised the importance of yours and his appearance at Glast:D enjoy every minute xxxxxxxxx
pigpen I dont know about decree nisi's - is that the last step between you and KH - i am glad it hasnt taken too long - do you still have to go to the mediator then?

have binned the remains of the shed roof felt that was replaced last year - the 'boys' had just piled it behind the shed - so made it my project and filled my green bin for tomorrow - think I am getting like Dusty - I hate my bin going out empty! and I rummaged about and put out some of the cardboard boxes that had got soaked - they are filling the blue bin for next week nicely:D

I texted my mate M about the bike and I was having a rest when he appeared so we chatted and then he took the bike away:T:T so now i dont have to pour the lawnmower in - it actually fits!!!

Not a lot of the LR list but jobs from my own lists so still flying!

still another hour before my dinner - I am starving already!

will go and get the washing in and maybe water the plants so that i can relax after dinner.
    toots xx

Thanks Pigpen, thats not too bad...will have a look around and will try and get them done during the hols.....gives me chance to get used to them before going back to school

(not sure which school yet though as thinking of applying for a TA in a school....it is temporary(but experience), it is a 20/30 minute drive with minimal traffic(worse in the school rush!!) so DD would have to go to breakfast club and after school club(payable) and I would have to find someone to have her on inset days......so not sure what to do

Finally got my results! Was worried i was going to break the refresh button on my computer:rotfl: Didn't do too badly, got an A, a B and a C in the end. Could have been worse!
Do need to knuckle down next year though, marks in 3rd year will count toward my degree classification.

Hugs Carlsberggal, hope you are ok:A

I cleaned my oven today:T It is spotless:D Oven Pride is the most amazing stuff ever. Not a single mark on my racks, they haven't looked this clean since they were new:o

    ugh.. busy day :o

decluttered DD to school this morning, then worked for a couple of hours at the plant nursery (not what I trained for but sooooo much less stressful!), then had my piano lesson, then did the school run, a Mr T shop, walked the dogs, weeded some of my veggie patch, sorted out the recycling, took the bins to the top of the drive, decluttered DD to bed.. now contemplating the choices for this evening.

So.. do I (a) do the mountain of ironing; (b) plant the new border at the side of the house, or (c) sweet FA in front of the tv??? I've a feeling that if I stop for tea I won't get back up again.. :o And yet again.. nothing from the formal lists :(

Hope everyone else is enjoying the weather :p

    Mudders
Ijust wanted to say i always wash my vertical blinds.....not in the machine though, i paid a lot for them and thought they might shrink. I take the weights out of the bottom first. Then i run some warm water with a little washing powder into the bath & gently rub the blinds over with a nail brush. I put some stardrops onto any stains that wont come out and give them a good rub and then rinse them off. Then i peg them securely onto the washing line, ive even done this with the patio blinds and they come up great. If you are doing patio blinds (just make sure you have someone to help you when you get outside as they will hang on the floor). My mother in law told me to wash them like this a few years ago and they have always come up lovely and clean.

    Hope this helps x

    hi all

memory is awful so can't remember if I posted earlier this evening...I intended to! Had a lovely day first meeting a girl off the preg thread on here for coffee then with my friend. Also picked up a lovely clock and lightshade for the baby's room for £10 - another bargain :D

I had a big (bargain pizza exp with tesco vouchers!) lunch out so dh cooked his own dinner. I have washed up and put the rubbish out though. Whole place needs a dust & dyson which we'll do on sat.

toots - don't you overdo it (as you said to me!)

Not quite.. it is usually about 6 weeks after that it is all finalised. The mediation is separate sadly.. thoguh I don't think he will want to go.. he might have to listen to what someone else has to say for a change!! Though because he reads on here he knows exactly what I want.. it isn't me that keeps changing my mind!

You only do the one full set though then the refills are about half theprice of the full set and just a paint is about £5 most places.
