morning all - DD2 spent last night in the depths of despair about the Geography exam - I think she's seriously worried that she won't get the grades for 6th form:(.

However she is having today off before restarting revision for her last exam next week.

DS has finished college except for the morning of July 2nd - he's already hoping for extra shifts at work:D. Someone offered him a place on the lads holiday to Magaluf...but he still isn't going - needs to work and save money (his words - not mine!). Added to that he needs a new passport!

congrats to gunsandbanjos! Good to see you back Gran. Natty - take a deep breath.

much ironing to get done today:mad:..but all of KS2 are out from school today so dinnertime should be fun!:T And for once I mean it!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

    Morning,

Coffee declutered, Kids have had breakfast and 2/3 dressed just waiting for DD1 to move herself and get sorted so we can go:mad:
we always seem to wait for her!

Penelope Penguin Sorry to hear about the theiving little toe rags why is it people choose to do this if only they realised the upset it can cause and the hassle, what goes around comes around though;)

Natty Sorry to hear you are having a rough time when we moved a couple of years ago my best friend made me promise we wouldn't loose touch and would still see one another unfortunatly that seems to have changed I have been to see her and I was the one who always rang her but it is never returned it is annoying and upsetting but if they really valued your friendship they wouldn't do it;)
Sending you big hugs and hope it sorts it self out for you glad you managed to have a good night though:D

cyclingyorkie Hope DD2 has a lovely relaxing day and sending her positive study vibes and exam vibes.

Good morning, kazwookie, and all who follow. I got up at 4 to go to the loo and found that some b%^$*£%d toerag has broken into our outbuilding and decluttered our chain saw, lawnmower, hedge trimmer and 4 bicycles :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: We have a plod coming round later, and I have to ring the insurance once the office opens. Bright side - my bike (that I use for work) wasn't taken, and DH and the children will get new bikes.
ooh Pen - how awful complain.gifBUT I'd be kind of annoyed they'd left my bike ;) You better be off round the car boots sunday - you can buy it all back!

-if she is a true friend she willrealise that she has used you when she shouldn't have. You're not in a postition to write off than amount of money (hell neither am I) so you are right to ask. Hope she pays.

A bit dozy this morning having seen Blondie - at a gig venue I used to go to in my TEENS...where I saw The Damned, and The Stranglers...first ever gig since the no smoking ban! And I got a text from you-know-who wishing me a nice evening:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Beds stripped and airing; load 1 one line, 2 in machine and 3 on standby. Hoping to get it all washed, ironed, dried and away today - subject to weather!:o

My mum's favourite song is on the radio and it has reminded me

:p Apart from DS's 1yo BMX, mine is the most valuable  but as I use it most days, it's kept separately from the others, so that I don;t need to drag out all the bikes to get mine. However, it takes a wee nack to extract it, and though they broke the lock on that building, DH reckons the van was full or they were disturbed, so couldn;t take it.

Saw NN crossing the street, so spoke with her. She didn;t hear anything, but has said we can borrow their mower and hedge trimmer :A (we do their hedge for them anyway :) )

I've rung the insurance people who are getting back to me once they raise the brokers' office.

I need to move, as I'm feeling extremely dopey, and will sit here and mope all day if I'm not careful :)HHC 09:00 - 09:30 anyone?

Going to put the washing on the line.

Pen - why not get one of those alarm strips fitted - you know, the kind that when the door opens the connection is broken and it makes a noise?

    Or get geese

Or wire the handle to the mains;)

(I KNOW you CAN'T really do that and hope to escape prosecution BTW)

WM 2 now on line so I'm going for a bath - I want to paint my toenails today! :)

Oooh have been good, once I stopped blubbing and stopped worrying over emails and Beth..lol.

    • Ironing all finished and put away. Washing up done, breakfast snaffled and meds taken.
    • Umpteen cups of tea drunk :D
    • Written letters to creditors, that I had been putting off then wondered why on earth I was putting them off so knuckled down to them. All printed off, stuck in envelopes and stamps on them all ready to post when I go to the village connie_25.gif
    • Just have to write the letter to 3 agreeing to their terms for the next 3 months and set up the DD for the lower payment, but put the letter down somewhere and can't find it..oops!!
    • Make a cuppa, put the bedding, that is now washed, on the line and jump in the bath.
    • Managed to get an invite for lunch to my friend T's - I know I'm sneaky..lol. I'll take her a lovely bunch of flowers for being there when I needed her :D
Can you tell I'm doing everything possible to avoid my telephone, emails and mobile phone..lol

Have a couple of posts to reply to but will do that when I get back later today.

Wanted to say thank you for your lovely comments on my nails, I'm absolutely chuffed to bits. Although I did have to take the polish off as I managed to smudge it all at a friends house. But I didn't take it off until I had shown DH and he said I was probably not used to having polish on, well not coloured polish. So I put my pink tinted nail strengthener back on and will put some lovely polish on them before I go to the family do at the weekend :D

PP, what horrible scroates to do that to you. I hope they get caught really quickly. Have one of these connie_21.gif, and ahug.gif for you.
