    hello everyone
its another sunny hot day here - maybe a tad cooler than yesterday - i was really surprised that my shoulders had caught the sun last night - I wasnt sitting in it just pottering around.

Jo oh what a pain - I hope you made it on time today - its glorious here so I hope you have decent climbing weather too. how lovely of you to think of bringing me a bit of the Ben - you are an angel - love and hugs and stay safe xxxxx
Mozzy Having fun with your children is very important - I love their entertainment!!! its nice to know you try to keep up with us from the other side of the world - amazing isnt it? xxx
PenPen (((hugs))) for your horrible morning - I hope they get the theiving barstools - I hope the insurance gets sorted out quickly and you can all have fun replacing the new bikes etc.
Natty (((hugs))) its quite natural to feel emotional honey - I personally think if you hadnt written that email it would have niggled away at your for ages - so you have done it and if anything it will maybe declutter toxic from your life once and for all or she will do the decent thing and give you the money - so try not to worry all the time about it - it was a job that needed doing IMHO - remember honey she can say as many things as she likes on the phone - you know in your heart that you did the right thing by FRed - you gave him the love and support that he needed and when you put the phone down she is gone - SHE is the one with the problem so dont let it become a big issue with you -keep repeating "she is the one with the problem - I have done no wrong".
As for your furry friend - more (((hugs))) I hope beth will still be able to come stay - they can do lots for doggs with cancer now too. I am glad you are going to T's - even if she is busy you can help her and just now you need the company. much love and hugs xx
boddy that just proves you are the right person for that job xx and you make sure you lock up properly - its so easy to leave windows open when its so hot.
SummerMoon my deepest sympathy for you all - as Dusty said I hope the situation with the other relatives doesnt get nasty - its hard enough to deal with grief without argy bargy as well! Tell DH to do what HE wants - it has to be whats right for him.
Mumto5 I am so pleased you have sorted things out with DH - what a lovely dilemma to have !!!! could he record the football?

havent physically done so much yet but have
had a lovely chat with my DB
    phoned and cancelled 2 D/D's
had a phone call and I am switching fuel suppliers
    S&S the kitchen
    S&S the bathroom
done a 60 in 60 shredding paper (but now my shredder seems to be stuck!)
done some knitting while the pc re-installed my security program

so off to organise lunch and then it will be off to the garden and the shed for me.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I've made a banana cake for the school fete. Going to make a quick chocolate cake for my kids now and then lunch and a wizz around DS1's room
not fair. Now I want cake and we don't have any!

Been for a stroll to the pond and fed the ducks, the goslings have grown loads in 2 weeks since we last went! curtains for the baby's room arrived (from ebay). I'm going to finish my book before we go out. WM has nearly done so that needs hanging up too.

G&B Well done on the results.

Natty Hugs, I hope you will feel better soon and that positive things will come from your letter

PenPen Hugs too, hope everything gets sorted easily for you

Had an early start for work this morning and am very tired now. Our noisy neighbours were in the street yelling again last night, or at least she was. It started not long after 10 and around 11.30 we heard him calling the police!! In a rather undignified way (on her part) she was bundled into a police van and taken away. No idea if or when she came back but we eventually got to sleep just after 12 and I was up at 5

Anyway, my list for today when I find the energy

  • Natty, if she gets angry and hostile, all that proves is that she's not worth your friendship as she has only taken advantage/stolen from you. Obviously, it would be better to get the money back, but even if you don't, at least you find out for certain exactly what a nasty piece of work she is, which is better than being strung along and made to feel guilty about it.

Condolences to SummerMoon. People do and say stupid things when they are bereaved. It's normal.

PenPen, the little sc&otes. Make sure the outhouse is properly secured before you replace anything, as they will be back expecting the replacements to be as easy to remove. If you can, a hedge of the most evil prickly stuff around your place helps. I suggest blackthorn, broom, Colletia hystrix or Colletia paradoxica http://www.hardyexotics.co.uk/hardyexotics/frameset.htm

Other than that, I suggest a MagnaVolt adaptation for the outhouse :D

Natty, PenPen, Summermoon, ~~hugs sorry to hear about things in your various life's, I hope they all get better soon.

Valli~~ is there any special reason why you are madly cleaning your bedroom, and painting your nails etc?? :rotfl::rotfl:

OH's car failed its MOT, he is getting 4 new tyres today, and taking it back for a retest this afternoon, I am so mad at him, because he then tells me it has not had a mot since Jan when the last one ran out!:eek: now the bit that makes me mad, is there is no good reason why the car was not tested in Jan except he is just bone idle over things like this. Luckly this is his car, he earns enough, does not have any money worries, so why the fck did you not get it done sooner?? he couldn't answer me............grrrrrrr

Haven't done any of my list apart from posted my father's day card. Have just finished vacuuming and cleaning the inside of my car though. It really needed it, especially as we are giving a friend a lift to the Paul McCartney gig on Sunday. I don't have to be embarrassed by it now :D
