Morning all
PenPen how annoying, hope you get it sorted smoothly though and at least it was the shed not the house I guess
natty hugs
Just heard DH get up but think he may've just gone to the loo and back to bed (i like my quiet mornings!). We are both off work today and going to the opera tonight (hopefully I won't nearly pass out this time!) so we'll be heading up to town at about 3 to have a meal first (with clubcard vouchers of course!). Don't really have any other plans, we need a few grocery bits so may do that and the wm needs to go on and there's some clean washing that has been sitting on the airer since Tuesday.
eta: dh is up and showered in fact and moaning that there's not enough milk for cereal! clearly I'm meant to be a mindreader seeing as he eats toast most days for breakfast!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I am all bathed and have polished toenails! So I'm walking around barefoot (no change there tbh) with blue smily toenail separators smiluing up at me while I wait for the polish to 'go off'.
Then I'm going to make the beds up and clean my room and go on a VITAL errand!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning everyone.
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room DONE#
Not as hot here today. I think we are the only part of the country with lower temps. Im not complaining though. Off to see mum this morning then going to my voluntary job. Had a very angry lady the other day but managed to calm her enough to send her where she needed to be. Mostly people are nice. Dailies done and just finishing a cuppa.
g&b Well done!
Penpen Sorry to hear youve been burgled. Thieving *****. Hugs. The guy next door came the other day to say someone tried to get in his during the night and for me to be careful.
Natty Big hugs. Hope you get your money. Wrap yourself in a magic invisible cloak so whatever she says can not hurt you and bounces off.
Hugs for everyone specially Toots Lady L and Diva.

DP mother is shoving all kinds on him, expecting him to act in a certain way that SHE expects.

Morning, seems like there are a lot of flyladies dealing with crappy stuff at the moment:( Hugs Natty, PenPen, Summermoon.
Have put a wash on, emptied the DW and washed some dishes. Also S&S'd the kitchen. Need to find some food soon.
Thanks for all the congrats guys, its such a nice feeling knowing i have no resits and can enjoy the rest of my summer:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hello Flyers,
Natty and PenPen - gosh you two are having a bit of a barrel load of gibble at the moment. Sorry I can't say anything to make it better. Hugs to you both.
Summermoon - Hope things settle down and condolences to you and your DP.
To report some happier news DH and I have decluttered our differences and are back on friendly terms. We have a massive dilemma on our hands now. DH was offered tickets for Wimbledon on Wednesday and he gratefully accepted them as he knows I love tennis. However he later realised it's the last England Group game and is dismayed he may miss it. To top it all DS2 told us this morning that he is running the 100m in the District Sports on Wednesday. He was never beaten at district sports in Primary School and he will be devastated if we don't support him.
Why is it that good things always happen at the same time? I've got my BF's 40th and a Hen Night on the same day in August
. I'm beginning to think I'm cursed.
On the flying front I've washed DS3's winter duvet and its out on the line. I know it says to tumble dry but I'm not wasting this wind.
I think a stray cat has got in the cat flap as the utility room smells awful. I am going to give it a thorough clean after I've attempted Friday's List.
DD2 has been swimming, I have to take MIL to the bowls club at lunchtime and go to Mr T as the cuboards and gleaming clean fridge from Monday:D are bare.
Friday ~ Childrens Rooms, Spare rooms Or just neglected spaces!

[STRIKE]Strip and wash and replace stinky bedding[/STRIKE]
Make half an hour for YOURSELF!!!
Level Two
Sort through a cupboard of clothing
Sort through a box of toys/junk

Level Three
Tidy/straighten a bookcase/shelf unit
Wash any curtains/cushions etc that are in need
Dust and deweb

Must have been something in the air - I was wide awake at 3 this morning  Did get back to sleep about 4, but wandering around with a :coffee:at 6.
I woke for the loo at 4 too, slept dreadfully last night probably cause I knew I had a full on day todayI am sitting here in tears because I am wondering if I should have done it. ................................I don't know if I can talk to her without getting upset.
Hugs sweetie, getting upset is fine. I'm a very emotional person and I'm just starting to realise it is ok to show it. In a few days when this is over it might be good to look into your heart and try to decide why you think you shouldn't have written to her (not saying you shouldn't but that is what you imply you feel). It is only by working through situations like this that you will become stronger and better able to do what is right for you and that is the important thing. Lots of lovecyclingyorkie wrote: »morning all - DD2 spent last night in the depths of despair about the Geography exam - I think she's seriously worried that she won't get the grades for 6th form:(.
However she is having today off before restarting revision for her last exam next week.
I hope she does ok and is surprised on results day. Is there no leeway on getting into sixth form (maybe taking 3 rather than 4 at AS).
PenPen - so sorry to hear about the break-in and I hope the insurance pay up real soonThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Summermoon - hugs on your loss and I hope things don't turn nasty
Mumto5 Happy you and hubbie have sorted things out. Any chance of seeing if you can swop the tickets somehow?
Just home from work for a couple of hours before my next 2 exams. I love working 5 minutes bike ride away.
I've made a banana cake for the school fete. Going to make a quick chocolate cake for my kids now and then lunch and a wizz around DS1's roomThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
