    I know exactly what they say.. and I don't care.. Yesterday they were told that while they think it is an every day occurence they need to remember many of these women they are seeing will only have 2-3 children at most so it is momentous to them.. you could see the penny kerching in their head!!

    [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon all

    DH is working at home, and needs lunch for 1:15, so I'm going to try to:

    * [STRIKE]Empty the dishwasher
    * Hang up the washing
    * Clear up the kitchen counters
    and
    * Make lunch
    [/STRIKE]

    before then... Proper cleaning follows, this afternoon!

    Off I go....

    Did all that, plus after lunch I cleaned the loo, descaled the bath and sink, wiped down the kitchen counters, packed the dishwasher, did a massive heap of washing up, read and logged the electricity reading on-line; and washed my hair/changed my clothes to head out for school pick-up (can't go smelling like a compost bin, can I?).

    Need to go out and pick loads of stuff from the garden so I can put it in the fridge ready for tonight, so now need to dash off again with precious little done :o:o. Feel like I'm only doing the minimum S&S on the house at the moment, but the garden is taking so much time.... :(

    Back later...

    MissH

    exactly

    I can still remember a m/w telling me that a natural birth was best...

    then she admitted BOTH hers had been sections...

    and I got my elective!

    (DS's birth, attempted natural had been somewhat 'harrowing' and culminated in a emergency c-section and I'd had an epidural they didn't have time to top-up so then had a general - and I'd gone well overdue with babe 2...and they weren't doing all that to me again!)

    Midwife with my 2nd tried to persuade me to have DS at home. I later found she'd had 2 elective sections *roll eyes smilie*. We're 20 miles to the nearest hospital, and DS nearly died at delivery, so I'm so glad I didn;t take her suggestion.

    Love your new location, Valli :smileyhea

    well I have beem a bit busier than normal - after lunch I ventured into the shed and hauled out the parasol - cleaned it all - it was a bit mouldy from when the roof was leaking - and now it is up - oh and had to reapir the handle twice as well!
    Also pulled out my bike and cleaned it ready to give to Claire - hope to get that away tomorrow and then there will be space in the shed to move!!!

    Cleaner came by to say she wasnt coming today - going to come on Saturday morning instead.
    have also thrown out dead flowers and washed my big vase and put it away

    just having a drink its sooooooooo hot here then I am off back outside to start filling the bin for tomorrow!
