Now I am on leave for a week, hurrah! No specific plans, but it is our wedding anniversary on Sunday:smileyhea so I'm sure we'll go out either Sunday or some point during the week.
I'm kind of hoping for a relaxing, pottering week, but it doesn't always turn out that way.
I'm starting a new decluttering list though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Oh, DH came back today to find the dog in the garden. It appears he's figured out he can go out the dog flap, but not figured out how to come back in yet :rotfl::rotfl:
We've been trying to train him, but he's not blessed with intelligence, funny little chap. It is a HUGE achievement that he's gone out, so my task for next week will be trying to convince him that he can get back in again.
We think the cat has also gone out as there was a pile of cat vomit on the post  and the cat was also in the back garden. We've tried to train her too, but she won't lower herself to come anywhere near us in case we think she likes us"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Aw, how cute your dog is.I'm sure he'll soon learn how to get back in. Nice work by the cat as well.

Here is the burger recipe:
Ox burger
_makes 6X100g burgers
• 500g extra lean minced steak
• 1 onion -finely chopped
• 1tbs capers - well chopped
• gherkin-finely chopped - (about 1tbs once chopped)
• 1tsp wholegrain mustard (0.5)
• 1tsp worcestershire sauce.
• 2tbs fat free natural yoghurt
1. Squish everything together with your hands and chill for about 1hr
2. break of 100g pieces and shape into patties (I have a burger press )
3. place back in the fridge until required
4. heat a non-stick frying pan and drop them in and let them seal before turning over and cooking the other side -I cooked them on a fairly high heat to stop them losing all their juices -and sometimes once sealed I whack them in the oven to cook

Had a good weekend, Saturday we did a boot sale, so got rid of a bit of stuff.
Yesterday we went booting, and I didn't buy anything :A
In the afternoon, we sorted through the boot sale stuff in the van, and now have a huge pile of stuff to go to charity today. This gives us more space to add new things now.
As it was free listing on ebay this weekend, I managed to relist everything (including the books I was going to get rid of, and they will now go next weekend).
I've started on a decluttering list too so will keep that up through the week.
I sold a book on amazon over the weekend and I've just sold another one, yay!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
That's a car full of stuff taken to charity and the tip, so that's all gone now. We've got quite a pile of recycling to go out as well, and I'm hoping to add some more to it today as well.
I've padded £2 to my credit card this morning too. It's a really tight month this month, so need to get on and get some stuff listed on ebay."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I tried to make an overpayment to a card I don't normally, but I've spent on it, so I need to. It won't let me make a payment less than the minimum, even though the DD for the minimum came out yesterday  I'm going to have to dig out a statement and see if I can find some bank transfer details on there. So I repaid the minimum and that will be the only overpayment this month to that card."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
