So its still taking ages to boot?

After launch, it still takes a few minutes before I can load any programs. Noticeably quicker to respond thereafter.

Use the Norton removal tool

Sorry to take so long, I have been busy earning a crust.

Done all that.

GLARY found 613 invalid registry items, but no other issues.

I shall try it for a few days and report back.
