It just means it cant scan the archived (compressed) files due to the compression

Looks like a zonealarm download file? Id still says its legit, but only you can say if youve downloaded zonealarm recently?

I've never had a bet in my life, wouldn't know how to. 5 weeks ago, when I was full of ' falling down water ' my brother conned me into an England / Germany bet for £100 ( England him - Germany me )

So the next day I asked a mate to put a bet on for me - £80 on the nose tax paid on Spain to win and £10 either way on Germany to face them in the final. I have hedged my bets, and await the outcome.

I did download ZA alarms, but I no longer use it. I have uninstalled the program, I kept the instalation file but shall delete it too. I am currently relying windows firewall.

I have Avira anti virus installed should I turn off windows defender?

You can delete ZA alarms if you don't use it. The second question will need to be answered by someone else.

After windows installs, my PC seems to hang and the yellow "busy" light glows continuously. It takes a few minutes before I am able to open a program. I suspect there is a conflict and thought it might be windows defender vs Avira?

Shutdown defender from running at startup

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds


reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
