    Done all that>

    I guess line 010 is detritis left behind when I deleted iolo system mechanic.

    CC cleaner identified 670 orphaned links to missing files, e.g.
    The file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Remote Control Software Common\jre\CHANGES is referenced as a Shared DLL and doesn't exist. These are often left behind after uninstalling software.

    PC is working, but still have circa 3 minute delay before it responds after reboot and I can open IE (or any other program). Thereafter no delays.

    In Task Manager / Processes: I find two entries for iexplorer.exe, two entries for rundll32.exe and two entries for taskeng.exe which seems odd to me?

    Shut down your anti virus
    Follow the simple instructions it gives
    Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out

    If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
    (If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)
