Thank you Gem and wow to your signature - there is light at the end of your tunnel!
I have just checked my experian credit report and am staggered that my score has gone from about 500 3 years ago to 971 today. Now I just want to make up the extra 28 points until I am perfect!Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
Am having a bit of a sort through the kitchen cupboards as we have tons of food stockpiled but when it comes to making tea we tend to pick the easy option so going to menu plan some very boring menu options up to Christmas and see if we can use up the cupboard stuff and then start on the masses of food stockpiled in the garage!
Desperately waiting for the post to see if my exam marking cheque is amongst the bills and trying to avoid freezing to death without the heating on.
Need to get ebaying but not convinced it is the best time of year right nowEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
There is but it is thanks to my husband. He paid my loan off with some compensation money. Just the car left now - but we actually have savings!! The car might be going back though as we are moving to Sweden in the next couple of months!
Having no debts has enabled us to be able to make this life changing move!!

Ooh - how exciting - why Sweden?
Glad you have got so far and the idea of savings sounds great - we can't wait to be able to save and mortgage blastEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
Been to my fat club Christmas party and the diet is well and truly back on. I haven't weighed in for 3 weeks and tonight I had put on an utterly shameful 9.5lbs in the 3 weeks. I need to get it back off not just because I need it off but I won't fit into my work clothes when we go back in January otherwise!Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560

Our friends have bought a business in Sweden and asked us to go with them.
If you shifted it once you will do it again. Be patient though especially with it being Christmas.
Did your cheque arrive?

Aww fab - it'd be great to have friends out there too. We keep coming back to the idea of moving abroad but our house would be a nightmare to sell so it doen't make sense any more financially.
I am not going to use Christmas as an excuse to overstuff my face - that can be my one day off this week and I will try to counteract with exercise.
My cheque still hasn't arrived tried to ring and complain but not really got anywhere.
I got paid and got my paycheck through today with an extra £700 so that softens the cheque annoyance a little. I just need to try to be careful with the money and extra money as i still need to make this paycheque last until the end of January. I still get an 'allowance' from my mum (I'm only 32 so I am sure it is normal to still get pocketmoney!!!) so I can put that straight to my CC, along with child benefit when that arrives.
Off to a kids party in an hour so best get wrapping pressies and try to make the kids look a little less like they have been dragged through a bush sidewaysEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
Still no blummin' cheque - seriously annoyed.
The outlaws are stressing me out at the moment too.
Off to have a lovely yellow label jacket potato with tesco value cottage cheese - 'tis the season to be jolly (although I'd be a little jollier if I hadn't pinched some of the kids sweets earlier whilst making a gingerbread house - naughty girl!)Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
