Hi twinparents, just wanted to say that i only saw your diary yesterday but have read through the entire thread already! You two are both very insipiring and its lovely to see a couple working so well together.

You both already sound like you know what you are doing, but i just wanted to ask if you had signed up for things like tescohomepanels and toluna? I get quite a few trials through these both (maybe once a month) for very handy items such as washing powder and dishwashing tablets and even shower gel! I think with tescohomepanels you can get loads of child related trials too which might be helpful for you...!

I saw that you do surveys, not sure if you have signed up to opinionworld? I know it doesnt have fantastic reviews, but for me it has been amazing. I earn around £20-£40 a month from it quite comfortably and it doesn't take up too much time for me in the evening.

Hope i'm not teaching you both to suck eggs...! Mel x

    Hi Mel

Thanks for the message. I've never heard of tescohomepanel so thats something to look into, we are signed up for toluna.
I'm not signed up for opinionworld, so something else to look at.

Strange week at work this week, got activities days for 3 days so I'm organising boys football. Easy stuff but I don't get any free time.

B&Q card will be paid off today - going to ring them at lunch time and pay off the last little bit - thats if all our PAD have reached them yet. If not might have to wait until later in the week so I can pay off the final balance.
Next to tackle is Virgin CC we started PAD on that on Saturday - every little helps. Have set up DD for minimum amount and then every PAD will be a bonus.

Are you not supposed to be running around in the drizzle?
Just popped to collect an order so I can put a Phoenix order in then hopefully pop out for some printer ink later so I can do the last catalogue drop before we go on holiday. Might have to bribe the twins with the promise of football in the rain to get them to 'help'!

B&Q paid off - I think!!! Still one payment winging its way to them from the end of last week, but I've paid off the remainder. So finally got rid of the B&Q card.
We'll have to update the snowball. The next card will be a while before its paid due to the high balances, but it feels good to have one less debt.

Well done Twinparents! You're doing very well. Keep up the good work! Any news on the school days yet?

Not yet but I have spoken to a secretary at the school about something else and asked about the timetable, she said it is done so I asked if my new head of dept. could give me a call about coming in to collect bits and bobs sometime - I didn't want to get myself into a stress about which days but the deputy head had said she would let me know about days if they were going to be anything other than mon, tues and Wed so feeling a bit more hopeful that no news is good news.
