I had a very similar conversation with Braclaycard yesterday.
Rather than help people being proactive to avoid getting in too much of a mess they would rather wait until we are in a real mess. Seems a very strange way to operateEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13
