I've had day one and day two of my 50 day challenge and I've achieved nothing towards my goals. But to be honest I didn't really expect to. I'll be surprised if I actually do anything towards them before day 23 when I return from holiday.

We've got a busy week this week, 4 days of work, getting ready for holidays and different things on every night, then holiday on Friday.

I'm going to start the day making PAD for yesterday and today, only £2 but every little helps.

Just arranged my refereeing for next season.
Starts on August 22nd, £19 per game plus 30p per mile expenses. Should mean about £80 a month.

I'd still rather be playing though!

My wife has her timetable and she is working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so thats a big relief. We can now focus fully on reducing our debts and aiming to shorten our DFD.

We are off on holiday tomorrow, so hopefully we'll come back with some spending money that we can then throw at our debts.

We're back from holiday now, spent a little bit more than planned but we still have enough to pay our debts and a bit more this month.
I've just refereed my first game tonight - £20 and got another 3 lined up, I should have at least one a week from now til april, should that should bring in an etra £80-100 per month.

We've managed to clear the debts on the business as well, so thats in a healthier financial position, we now just need to increase the sales.

  • We have been a bit rubbish with everything at the moment. We haven't been on here for weeks and we haven't been doing our PAD either.
Last night we sat down and spent hours tracking through our spending for September so far so we know where we are and where we [STRIKE]are going[/STRIKE]can't afford to go.
This month will be very tight as I had to buy new clothes for work and the car needed 2 new tyres, plus car tax but I think it would be good to get back to the PAD even if we are only making payments of under £1 - I think it is just a mental thing isn't it?

Hi Twinmum, I'm sure you will get back to routine soon. PAD is definitely a mental thing but keeps you focused at least. HOpe new job is good.
