Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
You do get what you pay for. Having to rely on a security system entirely battery powered isn't the answer for me.
  • Well worth adding a
S400 Automatic Security Dialler - RE3000AD worth there weight in gold.
You can get them for a better price on fleebay.
Any make speech dailer will fit any alarm. Most will call up to 3-4 numbers. Mob, pager, landline.

If i were you i would also get an external bell box even if its a (good) dummy.

All systems professional or otherwise are no more than a deterrant, any thief can break a window and enter the property - a visible sign of an alarm present is often enough to move them along elsewhere.

I was watching a programme last week on TV (during the day) in which a bloke who knew about the methods burglers use successfully attempted to break into someones house (with their permission) and steal all their expensive worldly goods, including two cars. The house had a fake alarm box on the outside wall and the "burglar" said he could tell it was fake as it had no back plate.

Unsure whether all fake alarm boxes are like this but please take note if you have one.

i got a s440 alarm and fitted the RE3000 dialler.... it works a treat, i set alarm off accidentally, by the time i had cancelled it my brother (who is one of the 1st people to be dialled) was on my mobile to check if things were ok...

its mains n battery backup, although there is no box on the outside wall (so no damp probs) i do have stickers in the window. Its the best i can do where i am... dont want to antagonise the little *@@~**** bag heads!....

    so great bit of kit!
