I agree with Rush, The Arms is an important part of the chat boards ans having it tucked away in the cellar makes it less likely to get new "drinkers" in....

I know I've been quite vocal in the past when it comes to siting of stuff, but I think the sub forums thing is a good idea and does seem to cover all bases.

There is one thing that seems odd to me though.....I don't think I would have put the Anything Else Board in the Pure Money section.

More suited to the Home Work and Play section, imo.

Any chance of splitting the Forum Jump list into sections with a gap in between, every so often?

I am finding it laborious to find the board I want quickly, as it is "too much information" all in one long list.

A few gaps at strategic points would get us used to where our favourites are.

OK folks - i will have a think about Venue, though i like Frans idea of the descriptor. The funny thing is i think calling it the Arms intrigues newbies as to the content - rather than putting them off.

Actually i think you're wrong thinking the MSA is out on a limb. Most people tend to scan the top and the bottom not the middle.

As for the gap in the board jump list - i agree - now we have to work out how on earth to do it!

I think its much better like this.
  • I like it. It has more structure. Took me awhile to find the NI board though.

I forgot about the quick jump bit at the bottom :o

Wow what a quick reply! Couldn't you just insert a full stop or a row of dashes where the breaks would be best placed?
