I'd have been happier if they hadn't done the stupid thing in the first place.

A "remove background" link was placed in the bottom left corner of the screen, but it appears many users didn't notice it,
I'd seen that but you had to login to remove it. Why would you want to stay logged in to private accounts just to use google? It was a security issue that some bright sparks at google.co.uk didn't think about obviously. And also there was no choice to leave it plain and white - they only had equally petrifying background as options. I think people who have no taste or sense of aesthetics should be banned :D from the soft-ware and computer networks industry. Am done :p

I like Google, I also like Microsoft, I despise petty little web masters who have a problem with the world and any one/company who is successful like for example Google.

They knock up badly coded, crap looking pre-1995 html web sites using some phony Linux based script and try to get as many people on their cranky bandwagon brandishing the anti-Christ message on their home page.

Google has been around before many of you even heard about the internet, it is successful in its own right, like Bill gates and Microsoft and yet people still post on internet fora whinging about the background image on their search engine and automatically being to hate it?

How odd some folk are, if you are against it or don't like - stop being a bunch of hypocrites and stop using the software. :)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

So sorry for bumping this thread, but google is at it again  spoiling my page. ok whilst google doodle is all grand and engaging, I genuinely dislike their trend of imposing toolbars on me. Look @ the new one.

    jtqh5g.jpg

Could someone help me outwit google and rid off that horrible black toolbar from my page, please.

Someone on google definitely sat doing nothing but twiddling their thumbs; so to while away time, they rubbish an otherwise lovely looking page with such nonsense  I'm a stickler for perfection :D

(the page hasn't gone wide for me with the image that I've posted, but if it is inconveniencing anyone else, please let me know and I'll reduce size or post a link instead)
