No debit card on cashminder is that correct?0
-
Yet another question............sorry
What info do Payplan need to set up DMP, i.e wage slips/proof of cost of utility bills etc
I applied for Co-Op account on line on Sunday and haven't heard yet - panicing, this is all making me very nervous0 -
Lordy...............I want the DMP Self Employed Fairy to visit me...................
Because we are in NI, Business Debtline can't help, they direct you to other in NI, who don't advise on self employment. But they are charities and thats ok.
I am not including business debt on our DMP because it is all trading debt, i.e. no formal credit arrangements but rather invoices that we pay monthly. Needless to say some are behind but we have informal arrangements to pay them all, and if DMP goes thru ok and husbands business isn't trying to support our massive credit card bills then business should be debt free in less than six months.
When I spoke to IP and Payplan...........they both agreed this should be fine because they weren't formal arrangements.
But we are trying to include business bank account in DMP and that is where the problems start because as noted above getting a business bank account may not be easy.........have today applied for Co-Op business account, after having received an acceptance from Nationwide Flexaccount, which has 'no business transactions in T&C's.
Is there anyone out there in MSE land who in same boat as our good(but skint) selves.0 -

Hello me again
just another quick dmp query!!
We are dealing with CCCS. Can i ask them that my direct debit comes out on a certain day of the month idealy the 20th (day we get paid). Also can could i make my token payments this month and ask them to take first payment 20th december? reason being hubby didnt change his bank details over int ime at work and as he advised them no money can go into the old account they are trying to sort out raiding a cheque for him?
CCCS are closed today have emailed them hopefully will hear back monday.
thank you again0 -
Hi Fred
I think that CCCS have specific payment dates but you best check with CCCS - my CCCS DD opertes on 1st of each month.
I organise my CCCS payment as follows:
I get paid on 15th of each month so what I do is I "ringfence" my CCCS by putting into in a Co-op Smartsaver savings account from my Cashminder account when I'm paid - both accounts are viewable together if you use Co-op online banking so doing a transfer from one a/c to another is instantaneous.
Then, at the end of the month (30th / 31st), I go online again and transfer the money back into the Cashminder account for the DD to operate on the first of the following month.
If you have a Cashminder account, a nice lady at the Co-op told me you can open as many Smartsaver savings accounts as you like so having one to "ringfence" your CCCS payment should be no problem.

Hi CCCS offer either 1st or 10th day of the month to take your DD. Mine was originally the 1st but I was worried about my child maintenance being paid late and leaving me short so i asked to moved it to the 10th and they were fine.0
