Hey Guys,
How we all doing ??
I am currently doing a self managed debt management plan, and halifax, MBNA have both stopped interest :j
But lloyds and santander have not, in fact Santander have told me tonight they wont accept my plan unless i am with either CCCS or PP
They threatend me with a DCA after 6 months, so i said, pass my account over now, and i can make an arrnagment with them
Ho hum onwards and upwards :rotfl:0 -

Well done. Stand up to them, who do they think they are? Creditors always think they have the upper hand not on this occassion. Well done again.

What made me not go through with it, was actually finding the letters from the creditors, after shoving them (unopened) down the side of the microwave and then into a black bin bag, the thought made me want to cry, however CCCS obviously needed them and proof of my income.
Anyway, I know I am going to have to take the bull by the horns and just do it......I've read back a bit further on this thread and Payplan and CCCS seem to be aboue the same, so I think I'll give CCCS another try...thanks again.
I'm sorry you have reached this stage, hopefully you will find a way forward with the help of CCCS.

Hello again! You are lucky Halifax stopped your interest, they added ours on from the get go! (£6K), we were paying them a fortune at the start, and they made some very nasty phone calls, not to mention menacing letters at the beginning of our DMP. I would never do business with them again!
Ironically, we received a phone call from them a few months ago, reminding us that we were paying them too much and did we want to reduce our payments? Maybe not...

The lack of consistency is ridiculous. Santander stopped mine straightaway0 -
Well, at least Mikon and me were there to hold the fort, LOL!!!
I won't apologize for being 'off side' again, I, however, can only say sorry for the American spelling of 'apologise' which was only accepted by my spell check when I put a 'Z' in , is there any end to it!???

You need to do something about this now, and not come back to it later. While you wait for an appointment or whatever, you need to work out exactly how many creditors you have (at the very least), then work out how much you owe them.

Thank you!
The prospect terrifies me, however I am going to do it when I get home from work today (been here since 9.30am yesterday).
I know there are lots, there are litterally hundreds of demands dating from December....anyway, thanks again!0 -
