Then more letters are the way to go, lots of them!
All I will say, is, to coin a phrase from the anti drugs song, 'Just say no!' to their demands. And refer them to CCCS.

I have also just received a letter from them saying that as long as I remain in financial difficulties they will accept the amount I have offered and will waive all future late, overlimit and payment charges - I am that relieved I could cry.
I am sure that the rest may not be so accommodating but I finally see a little glimpse of that light at the end of the tunnel0 -
Well done Mrs Trouble. With more and more people struggling who knows what's in store for the future for us all. I Just think every payment is one closer!

Gave in and phoned HSBC to check the account is closed, it is but I had an open savings account that had £4.00 in and they put the money in there. So good news if I can find out how to get it out I could, as it has not been absorbed as part of the debt I owe them. Next question are they allowed to pay money that was sent to a closed account into the still open savings one, surely they should have returned it to my works Finance department who could then have informed me? Different numbers obviously. Anyone suggest how I get it out of the savings account without a card or cheque book?Paddle No 21 :wave:0

I must admit that my family don't know the full extent of my debt. And of course the rabble on here.
I'm not proud of my debt, but I certainly haven't shyed away from it, and will help anyone in the same boat with advice for them. Hence why I'm here lol.
You calling us a rabble boy???
And I for one am always grateful for your help and advice - thanks.
Just passing through quickly at the end of this lovely, sunny day. Had a day off from the treadmill of work today - no money to speak of, but doesn't it make you feel brighter and more positive when the sun shines?
I might invest a pound on the National tomorrow (frittering money away again!:o) but what the heck - you can't live life in a vacuum.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
Soon enough it will be back to the grindstone - so enjoy the little pleasures of life.

Hi everyone
Need some advice off you all.
I have decided to reduce my monthly payments to CCCS so I am going to ring them on Monday to start discussions I cannot continue struggling from month to month. So I am going to reduce the payments to the creditors and you know what if they apply interest again then so be it but at least I will be able to survive from month to month. I also want to get rid of my smaller debts so I am going to make F & F offers to 3 of the smallest creditors.
What i want to know is should i make the F & F offers before the review or wait until after the review. If i wait until after I just wonder if the small creditors may kick off and say I had money to make F & Fs if you know what I mean.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Going to make the call on Monday to CCCS .

Would love to be able to help you've been such a help to all of us.................I would obviously discuss it with CCCS but would have though if you can clear the smallest debts that leaves everything on your DMP to go to your creditors.
Wish I could be of real help, good luck to you and yours xFinal no going back LBM 20/12/10Debt Jan 2011 [STRIKE]£28217.65[/STRIKE][STRIKE][/STRIKE] DMP start 01/02/11 -[STRIKE][/STRIKE]

Yeah you are a rabble, Innit.
I went to a gig tonight in Camden. £10 a ticket, which was reasonable. My mate bought a pint of Red Stripe beer at the venue at a cost of - £4.40.
In order to save money however we caught the train up there, and I bought 6 cans of beer for £5.50. When we got to London, we walked up to Camden, and sat on Camden Lock, drinking homemade Vodka n Orange (again making a huge saving). We then got in the venue and had a tremendous evening watching a cracking band not needing to spend loads of money.
Anyhoo, what I'm trying to say is that you can still have a
good night on the cheap without spending to spend a fortune, as I used to do.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Hey Guys,
lovely day today again and no work :j
Well everything on the self managed DMP is quiet, except for Santander, who are a real pain in the !!! !!
they have said they dont accept our DMP and are going to pass us on, but my OH keeps getting phone calls to his mobile and to the house phone  he has told them we are on a debt management plan, but they wont accept that its self managed  they say unless we can tell them the name of the DMP firm they will continue to phone !! and its like groundhog day, that same call 2 or 3 times a day !! So i am going to send them the 'no phone calls letter!!' jokers!!
Anyway aside from that not too bad :rotfl:
Going to do a bit of baking today, nothing to amazing, just some little cupcakes for the kids :rotfl:
anyway, hope you all have a good day :T0
