Hi everyone.....:j
Have not been on here much today, by the time hubby and my son came home from sea fishing its been non stop, but hubby wanted to cheer me up and done a barbecue for me.
I will be seeing dad tomorrow after 2pm, today my mum and one of my brothers went to visit, he was quiet, very chesty but the staff have been wonderful and won't leave his side.;)
The Film I love "Con Air" is actually on BBC 1 right now, so have that on in the background, its a FAB film starring Nicholas Cage.:)
Hope your all okay. X
Hello Di, I hope you feel a bit better today. Spend time with your family sweetie, that is what life is about. I hope your father is a bit more settled and that you are able to enjoy your precious time with him. Love, SW.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

never-in-doubt wrote: »Yes you are credit checked but its not a conventional check, like going for a bank account. It is simply for identity verification purposes... on your credit file you have table 1 and table 2 searches - table 1 is credit searches whilst table 2 is verification searches that only you can see - these are not part of a credit file.
So in theory the insurer is looking for fraud or bankruptcy otherwise, no problemo. Yes you can pay monthly, remember this is insurance and not assurance therefore you need it and if you do not pay, its no skin off their noses cos they will not payout if you claim!
See what I mean? In laymans terms it is not credit scored, just credit checked. Big difference
Comprende? :rotfl:
Thanks Niddy.
Needed that clarification - may just have a go at paying monthly to see what happens!
Obviously M&S insurance had spoken to their CC department about my account - at least I think this is the reason for the refusal. Sod them! Especially since the episode with my £150! Bitter, moi? Yo bet:mad::mad:"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Thanks Niddy,
That has clarified it for me - pretty dopey I know!
May have a go at paying monthly to see what happens! But not with M&S - think they have been talking to each other re my account. Still having to grit my teeth over that £150 - bitter, moi? You bet!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0
