You are very brave doing (and eating) a roast in this heat!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Good afternoon everyone, what a scorcher of a day again.:j
Bit later posting today, my eldest son Jamie he went out for his friend's 21st last night, they ended up in a nightclub later on and whilst he was texting his girlfriend, a hand dived in the crowd and sniped his moby phone......
So as you can imagine, its like looking for a needle in a haystack in nightclubs, so my son reported it, and of course cancelled it to have it blocked, it also has about 4/5 months left on the contract but I am not even sure if he has this covered.......
So......its been reported to the police, and he have been given a victim of crime number as well, and is to get this matter sorted, as he does require his phone as part of his job he is currently doing.......:o.
So we are hoping the shop will be in a good lenient mood, if they want to keep my son as a customer after his contract runs out then here's hoping.
Hope your all having a fab day.
My neighbours are having a very smoky barbie for their dinner again, so had to bring in my washing........again......., the next time I won't let them know either, as I have been doing each time we have a barbie, and we always have them later on in the day, tea time or after.
LOL, what a funny day it is today, must laugh as well though........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::DThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Oh dear Di,
So sorry to hear about your son's phone. Just shows what nasty people there are around!
I think mobile companies are well used to this and will get it sorted out quite quickly. Last year, while I was still at work, I left my work BlackBerry on a train (!) and didn't realise I had done it until I got back home! I immediately panicked and rang the phone company who were able to tell me it hadn't been used and then they blocked all the calls. I was very impressed by their efficiency - even if it was a call centre! (Think it may have been, because it was after 9 in the eveing!) The train company were absolutely useless in tracing whether it had been handed in so I gave up in the end, as I managed to get a replacement from work anyway. Of course, the phone had to go back when I retired!
Your neighbours sound about as considerate as mine! I think you should retaliate by having a very smoky barbie yourself, and cooking something really smelly!
Let's hope things improve for you!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hi Ann
Hope your well.;)
Yes there are some horrible uncaring tactless people about - with no dicipline whatsoever, it makes me so mad.
Don't think he will get that back now though.
Sorry to hear of your issues as well Ann, its scary though isn't it?
LOL, was thinking of just putting on the pertrol mower just for the sake of it, and maybe the petrol clippers as well :rotfl::rotfl:;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Yes, it is very scary!
But, unlike me Di, it wasn't your son's fault!
Your suggestion about the mower, clippers, etc. really made me laugh! It would really serve them right. I would be tempted to do it myself if I wasn't going out and it wasn't too hot!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Right.........there is no insurance on his contract........
But......
He reminded me of something, he told me he was sold insurance with his phone, and I told him I would add his phone on my insurance account with my bank, this was a few days after he had his phone so he cancelled it with his phone insurance.
I have just checked this out and realised its that of his old phone number I had added instead of that one.......
Anyway there is just 4 months left on his contract.
I am feeling very guilty now, so what I did say was, if they can offer him a cheap handset just for the next 4 months, then I will chip in.
I feel like I owe that to him at least.:oThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
