Regarding Amex - and after your initial reaction and such a long and detailed letter I am surprised (and very pleased!) that you think it is unenforceable! Am probably being stupid here, but by application form do they mean the document I sent you containing my signature? That is blank on the other side but they did eclose a huge document called "conditions" with bits highlighted. Have not scanned this but I can easily do so if you would like to see it.

Thanks once again for all this!

    Hi Ann

Yes they have shot themselves in the foot, you'll see why when I do your template for them!! Its funny.....

However, yes I need to see what terms they sent cos they say (in their letter) that the terms were on the reverse of the form - I wanna see how 4 pages fit on there, if you see what I mean (is it 4 pages or did I get that wrong?)....

Just email me the terms, i'll then figure out their mistakes. Can you remember when you completed that form, was there anything on the reverse of it (I think there might have been).... ;)

How is England doing? Have we caught up? I heard cheering on my street earlier. Will it upset people if i mow the grass? I was watching Poirot and v good it is too.

Di poor son! There are lots of bad people about but some good ones too maybe it will be handed in. I once gave up my seat on a train for a pregnant lady and dropped my wallet on a Portsmouth train. I didnt realise. The chap that found it called my bank and came to meet me in London to give it back and it had 3 credit cards and £1000 cash in it. He would not take a reward but took me out for a meal. How cool is that!!!!

Will get it scanned and emailed, Niddy.

I have just checked through the stuff they sent when I first CCA'd them - and a document called "conditions" was on the back of the signature sheet they sent to me then! So I guess it was on the reverse when I completed the form (it was a few years ago!) But not this time! Not sure whether it makes any difference. Also, the first time they sent me loads of stuff called "terms and conditions" - but they have only sent me one set this time. I will email over everything they sent this time - if you need the other stuff as well please let me know. Hope this won't make any difference!

Thanks again - don't care who wins the football now!

He found your wallet, he never stole your cash, he came to meet you and return it and he took you for a meal - and you're not married to him, why? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi Ann

I only want that "conditions" thing that they claim was on the reverse! I am only interested in anything linked within the signatory page - so all I want is whatever they claim (or you know) was on the reverse of that application form (yes, that form you signed).

    Make sense? lol
