I love the Opera House and ballet too!

It has finally cooled down. I might be daft and go to supermarket in a bit. I couldn't cope with the heat before. I was supposed to help with the school fair but i have not done much today and i must crack on with packing.

Di glad your father seems better I hope you are ok as it is stressful for you.

Ms Moneypenny London is amazing but I do love the countryside here down south. It is good that you have a choice.

I am nipping off to get some food. Is it bad if i have a Wotsits craving? I will go and get healthy food i know. I want to be naughty.

I will get a lovely stir fry for tomorrow. My garden looks amazing. Even the birds are silent. They must be exhausted with all this heat. I do not ever remember it being like this before. England (and Wales and Scotland) is/amazing. We are so blessed.

Good to hear from you, SW.

You had been a bit quiet today and I was wondering if you were OK!

I think this heat is brilliant but it is very tiring and makes me feel quite lethargic! Mind you, doesn't take much to do that!

Am going to have a small salad and some strawberries tonight. If I am eating (and drinking) at the barbecue tomorrow I will probably have all my weekly calorie allowance in one day!

Hope you get your supermarket shopping sorted out. Have you thought of shopping online?

I wouldn't worry Lou, I've given up keeping up with this lot, I just dip my toe in now and then and show my ignorance lol

Everyone is very quiet on here tonight.

Have just watched Murray win very comfortably at Wimbledon.

As it has been so hot am about to head off to bed.

Night, night and sweet dreams to anyone who happens to be around!

    Hi

Thank you for your lovely words all of you. XXXXX

My other 2 sisters went to see dad today, then I will be going either tomorrow or Monday, as a big family we split the visiting, so dad gets to see us all.;)
