This was my first port of call and very informative it has been, thanks to all contributors. Made my mind up after reading the first few posts ( i dont consider myself particularly cynical but something like this will always make me smell a rat) and decided that however desperate i get to sell my propery i will never allow myself to be hoodwinked by this company or any companies offering similar services.
love to you all, even inforeq. x x
why the sarcasm? a newbie on here or maybe not??? I dont need your love, dont know you and you dont know me. I suspect that you are SUKI1964 judging by the timing of the posting etc. Fairly sad if you ask me!0 -
the only contact details given in the advert were a telephone number starting 0800. The advert claimed to buy property for 100 % of the market value. x x0

the company is dead, no longer trading as they were!0

Yes, we know - they went did a runner back in September, it's been discussed extensively in this thread. Why post this now?
it has been re-posted as someone else seems to think that they are still trading ?????????
why bother quoting me on the subject when others in very recent times have taken it upon themselves to decide the company is still trading? We all know thats it has vanished but Tigerlily has turned into an amateur sleuth and thinks they are advertising in the newspapers.0 -
did anyone else see the advert in monday's Sun newspaper? They were definitely calling themselves investment property group and the logo was the initials IPG. i know there was a post from someone claiming that he had set up a company with the same name but he wanted to make it clear that it wasn't the same company that was being discussed on this forum. not sure anyone believed that. You would have to be crazy to name yourself after another company that was already causing such a stir for offering the same 'too good to be true' service. x x0

One of my colleagues has today spoken to a vendor who after carrying out a google search found this thread relating to an IPG(Investment Property Group) being a scam. Our company registration number is 7371535 we are based in the North East and are in now way connected to the company being discussed in this thread as asking for money upfront etc. I can also confirm that the same company has been highlighted by the FSA as they are targeting motivated sellers and are asking for upfront fees. I would simply like to confirm that we are not in ANY way related to this company and although we also help vendors who need to move quickly we DO NOT charge any FEES at all to vendors and offer a very professional service to both vendors and investors alike. Please feel free to contact us or me on 0191 280 4171 or search us on companies house, the company being discussed in this thread are registered under the number 05709215 as THE LETTING AGENT and are not based in the North East.
It was already known that another IPG was in existance!0 -
