And when your husband tells you about his girlfriend don't feel down & stressed, just think she's taking the pressure off you and she's welcome to it.
I never thought of it that way, thanks for that Christmasshopper
Theres alot to think about with some of your comments and I will take action on some of them.
I just cant wait to make this house im renting into a home, hopefully Cadence and I will both feel alot better then. At the moment i have no carpets but they are being laid next week. Since moving in I have had problems with heating and hot water and im waiting for parts now for the boiler. I have rang for an application form for a waitress job in a cafe thats opening in the next couple of weeks. Am also looking into changing schools for Cadence as it is a bit of a trek to her school at the moment, takes between 30-45mins to get there.
Cadence is 5 now, she had her birthday a few months back. I hope she is going to be ok when i put her into a new school

    Hi Maria

Sorry things have been s*** and glad to see that they are getting better. he two of you may well be better off without the ex. And I would agree with Christmasshopper. Apart from anyhting else if he is otherwise engaged he will not be in and out of your life making things awkward.

I hav not read the whole of your thread but a couple of useful links if you are trying to set up home with nothing. al thes provide free staff. it may not be perfect but itt will get you started.

The Furniture recycling network - this is the Welsh page.

    http://www.frn.org.uk/directory/wales.asp

Some of them do bedding and furnishings as well.

www.freecycle-.org, go to Uk and then your local group and sign up. Like e-bay but the goods are given away free of charge. You need to make an offer first but it could be a few bits of clothing that you DD has grown out of. great for clothing, whitegoods, electrical bits and bobs and toys etc.

    Hope they help a bit.

Good heavens, Maria! I've just read the whole of your thread, I'm now late for work, and I'm welling up :)

I'm so pleased for you that you managed to get out of that horrid situation, hope everything goes well in your new house. You're obviously willing to put a lot of effort into a decent life for yourself and your daughter. Well done you :)

Best dash to work, but I'll keep an eye on how you're getting on :)
