Hi Maria,
Have just read through your whole thread, and my heart goes out to you. Obviously its been a year since most advice was given, but if you are still looking for some help, try these people: http://www.capuk.org/help
They are a Christian organisation who help people get out of debt by dealing with the creditors on their behalf, and help them to set up a bank account to help them budget everything. I don't know if this will help, but I do know that they do make a tremendous difference to people's lives. You don't have to be a Christian, and I promise they won't try to bible-bash you or anything. They just want to care and to help you out.
As everyone else has said, you are a strong person, and you should be very proud of yourself for getting this far.
Love Di x0 -
Maria-Sounds like you will do a lot better now with just you and your daughter. I'm sure it's hard at the moment but things will improve.

Maria,
I have just sat and read this entire thread. My heart goes out to you, you have been through so much. It doesn't seem appropriate for me to comment on your relationship but you seemed so unhappy with your husband, I think the split sounds like a good decision. I will certainly follow this thread in future, I sincerely hope you post again soon. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Maria, I have also sat here and read most of this thread with tears welling in my eyes. Well done for having the courage to leave your situation and good luck with being able to concentrate on yourself and your daughter.

Wow, Maria - that was a bit of news!
Am glad to hear you will be able to take care of Cadence & yourself without worrying about his laziness & debts. Does your debt total include his amounts?
Look on this as a new start, life will get better - it may be a bit of a rough road at times, but it's the road you have chosen to take, not one you are taken down by anyone else.
Look forward to hearing how you are getting on - maybe you need a new thread?
Love & hugs,
