It is bl00dy stupid that they would rather we miss payments then help us out but the Banks still rule the roost despite all the problems their greed for charges, interest has cost.

Have just checked online banking and all accords with my little spreadsheet :j which means I will be skint this time next week :rotfl:

Sulking as I had a bad race last night and so will spend the next 24 hours eating chocolate - despite the fact that I got on the scales this morning and had lost 3lbs :j:j:j I shall put it all back on again!

Have sent a letter to the Council asking if they will be "favourable" to an extension - so fingers poised and crossed.........
    1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
    2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
    08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

Yes I too will be skint this time next week, am thinking I will accidentially have to cancel a dd, because I am NOT pay A&L on more f'ing penny and have decided the first 'little windfall' is going off overdraft and then I am moving back to First Direct!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

IMD is alive and well and on FB from time to time. I will nudge her when I am next on there to tell her to get her not-so-lazy-arris over here and say Hi :D
