Ok, successfully wasted a few minutes there signing up for the £30 for £12 Body Shop deal from the weekly newsletter :rotfl: Haven't done of of those before, never would have been able to justify the £12 :T :T

Stupidly enough, it's only not valid in about 6 places - one of which is where I live :rotfl: But it's valid til May, and I'll be going somewhere else before then :j Haven't had body shop stuff for ages, other than from charity shops

(oh, and I just checked, and I've managed to spend £35 over my treats budget this month! :eek: Not a crisis at all, and there was a little leeway in there this month because of new-found-freedom-enthusiasm - but evidently I'm going to have to keep aware of it (or increase the treats budget and decrease the emergency fund :rotfl:)

Right - must crack on, gah!

Ohh I looked at the Body Shop thing, and thought nope I'm not going to *insert name of evil shopping centre here*! Great if you can spend it somewhere though :T

I think it was always likely that you were going to go over the treats budget this month just for the fact that you COULD! I'm sure next month will be far more frugal!

Hope Manchester is going well - I'm off down to the South Coast later on to spend the weekend with a friend - not seen her in an age so it will be good to catch up.

Looks like there's a few of us jollying about today! :T :T

A successful day work wise, although tiring <yawn>

And now I'm home, the house is a complete tip, my mum and auntie are arriving at 10am tomorrow morning, we've got a post-phd party tomorrow night, and Mr Daffs is OUT ALL NIGHT :eek: Oh, and my outfit isn't made yet either :eek: :rotfl:

So I'm thinking the timer and little 15 minute slots is the answer :j :j

I'll just drink this tea first :rotfl: :rotfl: Then I'll consider a list...

Oooh Beanielou, that sounds interesting - what's the theme? Anything we can do to help you feel confident enough to dress up before you go? Tell you how great you are? How fabulous you look? What a fantastic costume you have? How you will be the life and soul however you dress? Tell you that it'll be easier to talk to people if you're dressed up because you can talk about your outfit? Give you a G&T (or two)??

I tried on my dress last night and the darn thing won't do up round my boobs :rotfl: so you're one up on me!! :rotfl:
