Thanks EH, it's quite bizarre isn't it?! :rotfl: It's just such a remarkably fabulous feeling to feel like you've actually achieved something :rotfl: I don't mean the whole thing (that'll just be relief rather than achievement!) but just that I've sat down and worked, all day and all evening, has been enough

Here's hoping for a similar day tomorrow :T :T (with a sneaky trip to the WI in the morning, of course :rotfl:)0 -

Personally I find that I never manage two really intense days one after the other, so if you don't either, don't feel bad, just remember that your brain needs to recharge a little bit before having another massive study session.
Well done on a very hard working day! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

I'm starting to feel that way about the decluttering I've been doing too Cheery - I still have a good way to go with it, but I'm *beginning* to see a real difference now.
It really is that which drives you on too. 🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm with you, Essex: I am trying to declutter and use up all my toiletries/read all my books/listen to all my CDs/watch all my DVDs before acquiring any more, and I can see a *little* more space, so I'm delighted!
Just a million more things to go. It's nothing. Honest!

Ahhh, so you can understand my flutter of excitement when I spotted a little spare space appearing in the bathroom cabinet then?!

Spare space is VERY exciting
Fortunately, I don't have to throw anything away - Mr Daffs just keeps adding new cabinets :rotfl: :rotfl: 0 -

Thanks you lovely lot

Had a gorgeous morning at the WI, quick whizz round the charity shops, then lovely friend came round for lunch
So nothing at all done today yet :eek: (other than furthering the plan to move up to Pippi-land :j :j :j but that won't get me a PhD!)
Up in the attic now, laptop on, heater on, music on, and I'm all set ready to go! Got the whole evening too today :j :j
Plan for the rest of today is:
* get the conclusions done :T (they may well need another read through tomorrow, but I certainly don't want to be writing anything new tomorrow)
* finish editing Chapter 4
* finish table for Chapter 5
* write table of contents (without page numbers)
Then tomorrow, 'all' I should have to do is:
* final read through of conclusions
* re-work introduction (only 3 pages long)
* re-work abstract (just needs a couple of sentences changing)
* check references
* add page numbers into contents list
* one last idiot check
* write email to examiner saying how I addressed comments (this is what will take the most time!)
* head down to library to print conclusions off to post to examiner (much easier if he just printed them himself, but I wasn't about to tell him that!)
Then that's it! :T (for now at least :rotfl:)
Best get cracking, here's hoping for as productive and cheery time as yesterday! :T :T0
