Oh cherisong your post just made me burst into tears in the office :o :rotfl: Good job I'm surrounded by stupid high walls cutting me off from everyone else! Sounds like you have some lovely memories of your nan, and that you really appreciated the time with her. I often think of mine too, and things I'd love to be able to tell her now :o

Ok, I'll stop now. I pushed on to the end and typed all the comments into the spreadsheet, figuring if I was going to get upset I might as well get it all over and done with at once :rotfl: So I don't have to do it again now. You're right about splitting things into mini tasks - Mr Daffs is really good at this, and is forever encouraging me to do it (I DO do it, but then sometimes get sidetracked again :o) Need to go home and have a good chat with him I think.

This silly lodger business is also getting me down a bit (although I do recognise that it's hormones making all this worse of course!). I miss sleeping in my own bed, and I miss having my own room :o Mr Daffs had another friend round while I was away, and the first thing she said to him was 'how's the house hunting going'? :rotfl: Apparently he said 'slowly', looked quite sheepish, and started mumbling something about being busy, and starting his course. It's obviously jolted him a little bit though, because this morning I asked what he was doing today, and he said 'looking for a house'.

Mr Daffs is still going to have a chat over the weekend though, and possibly suggest a two week deadline... (seems a bit quick to me, but he's already had 4 weeks and done nothing! And we do know plenty of other people who have said they will take him in temporarily so he's not being thrown onto the street).

Bleurgh, head buzziness, too many things, will do as you suggest cherisong and head home, have a nice shower, wash all this nonsense out of my hair, and get all dressed up and beautiful (while trying NOT to focus on how podgy I am and how half my clothes don't fit!)

Pah, I *am* in a bad way this afternoon! :o Not at all like my usual cheery self at all!

<don't worry, normal service will resume soon I promise, sorry for moaning on!>

I am sorry, I didnt mean to make you cry and in such a public place too

Go talk to Mr Daffs, he sounds much like my Oh who is my rock when I am getting things out of proportion. Sometimes I wish I could be a man and be so rational about things.

Sounds like your lodger needs a short deadline as (sorry its just my opinion from a distance) it would appear that he has taken a little bit of an advantage of your good nature and if you dont sort it now you may end up losing a good friendship.

Dance your socks off tonight and then you will feel so much better.

By the way, I reckon you wanted to swim with sharks because of the Blue Planet Aquarium, I did and I remember once stroking one of the carpet sharks without even thinking about it til my hand was submerged  Dont know who was more startled, the shark, me or the little kid standing next to me as I squealed.

The official version of our evening goes like this:

'We went to a thai restaurant, bought some shampoo, then had a pizza'

    :D :rotfl:

VERY cheery to meet her though, realised this afternoon I knew NOTHING about her at all :o so it was a lovely cheery experience! <waves to honeybear> And a very nice pizza too :D

    *waves*

Was lovely to meet you, babe :) I feel especially glad I helped in the shampoo purchase! :D

Didn't realise I was such a figure of mystery around here...I am of course available to meet other MSE'rs for random shopping/food events  :rotfl:

Sorry, I just had to laugh out loud at this :rotfl: - the very thought of Mr Daffs being rational! :rotfl: :rotfl: Lovely as he is, and brilliant as he is at sorting me out, I'm not entirely sure he could be described as 'rational' - drama queen musician all the way a lot of the time :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :D

As for the blue planet aquarium, they didn't build it til after I'd left so it was nowt to do with that! :rotfl: But sounds very exciting what you did :D And :rotfl: at you making the small child jump :j (and just what *is* a carpet shark??)
