I don't really see what the fuss is about. Sure, it's probably not going to change anybody's world...but I find the top of my dispensers often get grubby and need cleaning - if this could sort that out, that would be nice. If I were given the option of touching something that was covered in traces of bodily fluids or not, I'd probably choose the latter. Neither of these things is a particularly big deal, but at £8, it's hardly going to break the bank - so if someone fancies it, more power to them.0

£7.99!!!! Who on earth buys these things?
Probably very few people - that is why in a matter of months, you will see this pointless product being sold in shops like Home Bargains and BM stores for next to nowt alongside other pointless and previously overpriced products that have failed to capture the imagination of the public.
I am assuming they are battery operated and I suspect that as soon as the first batch runs out, the dispenser will be confined to the cupboard under the sink no doubt!0 -
Personally I thought the world had gone mental when people started advertising air fresheners that you have to plug in, or that go off when someone walks past.
These make me laugh too; there seems to be a constant parade of new, cutting edge air freshening products that are voice-controlled, solar-powered and can read your mood and dispense a sickly, chemical fragrance accordingly. Why not just open a window to let fresh air in, or clean your house if it smells funny? They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
I have just found this fantastic stuff in a shop, it is a rectangular rounded block about 3" x 2", it comes in various colours and smell quite nice and it is less than £1, all you do is put it in your hands and rub them together whilst running it under warm water and hey presto you hands come clean, magic eh, I think someday this may sell millions, I think it's called soap. :TApproach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0

I don't think the ad actually says it will clean the top of another soap dispenser !
If it did that, it would be worth considering, an absolute bargain - in fact, I would be selling it at a much higher price. I could use it to clean the kitchen floor while I was watching England fail miserably in the World Cup (again !).0 -

Actually.............for some people they will be a godsend
my son has a physical disability whereby his right arm and hand is paralysed ( similar to a stroke victim) and often has immense difficulty in getting soap out of a soap dispenser in public toilets or at school for example - the main problem being that he has not got enough strength to press the buttons to get the soap out with his paralysed hand and if he uses his "good" hand he can't lift his paralysed hand high enough to get it underneath the soap dispensers to catch the soap
I appreciate that for most able bodied people this is a waste of money - but to the thousands of people who have paralysed arms and hands, it could well be a godsend0 -
Wonder if the remote control television got a reception this warm "I don't see the point...All you have to do is turn the knob, anyway...."0
