There lies the way to madness! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
£7.99!!!! Who on earth buys these things?0

I have no idea, but it remind me of an automatic odour detector I saw once. Which was about as expensive. I thought I already have one of those, a nose!!! When i smell some thing bad I spray airfreshner and that only cost 89p!Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

Presumably they have done their market research etc. to check that it will sell.It never ceases to amaze me what people will buy. When you look at 90% of the stuff in the shops for sale do we really need it?0

I can understand this sort of thing in public loos where 300 people a day are touching it - but at home where it's just one family? Just cashing in on people's worries about bugs and germs. Anyway, unless the towel you dry your hands on are unused, door knob cleaned etc. you are just getting 'germs' straight back on them again. These will be £2 in Home Bargains soon.0

I am glad that I was not the only one to think that these things were a royal p155take.
As said before, you only touch the pump BEFORE you wash your hands, so what is the problem?0 -
Glad not just me either! As you say your going to wash your hands!!! No doubt their research shows some people will be using it but!!!!0

It says "Never touch a germy soap pump again".
OK, but if you DO touch a "germy" soap pump you must be putting soap on your hands, which means that you are about to wash them - yes ?
Still, it's probably very nice soap at £7.99 a pop - but I'll stick to my "germy" one from Lidl at £0.99 !
Arf, me and the wife had exactly the same thought - you only ever touch the top of the soap pump with dirty hands, so where the problem! I'll be sticking with the Asda 99p version.
Personally I thought the world had gone mental when people started advertising air fresheners that you have to plug in, or that go off when someone walks past.0 -
You don't have too buy it!!!!!
Just because something does not fit your needs does not mean it does not fit someone elses.
Something like this would be great for my husband who only has function in one hand. It finds it hard to pump a hand wash bottle with one hand.
