The diesel is more bomb-proof than petrol but neither have major issues, or be fuel gulpers. The 140bhp could get you 70mpg, let alone do 70mph all day long on a run, so IMHO is the better buy along with the extra torque you get from the diesel.C_Mababejive wrote: »A 1.6FSI will do 70 all day and be comfortable enough.
