You really do talk total !!!!!!, don't you. I used to work in the private sector and don't mind going back there if I have to, but your psychopathic hatred of the public sector makes you look like a ranting buffoon, nothing more. Do you think I give a !!!!!! what you think? I have news for you mate, I don't! And neither do most people who work in the public sector. .

And yet you have made the point of replying to everyone of my posts. Perhaps you care more what I think than you let on, little middle manager guy.

We're not remotely 'all in it together'.

Things are about to get very, very nasty and it'll be everyone for themselves, dog-eat-dog, grab what you can,, no VAT for cash-in-hand, beggar thy neighbour, I'm all right Jack, can pay - won't pay, charity begins at home, etc.

England has been broken up into self-seeking

The 'social contract' is in tatters now every person who has worked and paid their sky-high tax sees there will be bu**ger all there when they need it, as it's all (and more) been frittered away on "seekers", chavs and public sector pen-pushers.

Nope, we are definitely NOT in it together. I for one am heartily sick of paying over the odds to support those who don't want to work, those who bumble through the ineptitude of the public sector and who are rewarded for their incompetence. I'm sick of paying for waste and inefficiency. I'm heartily sick and not a little angry that it always falls upon the same people in society - those who generate wealth and profit - to pay for those who don't.

I will do EVERYTHING I can do to minimise the burden on myself. I've shouldered my burden. Sod the others - it's someone else's turn now.

I hear your pain regarding private sector pensions bendix. It doesn't make it any more fair this time does it??

If the whole public sector decided to take simultaneous action the country would be held to ransom whether or no the private sector supported it or not...

Oh and independent studies have assessed how much it would cost if you had to pay public sector workers private sector wages and I would be a great deal better off for one. I think the days of people doing any job out of a 'vocation' are over. If you want real world thinking then you have to factor in how much you would have to pay someone to get shot at, spat at, threatened, abused, risk their lives daily etc and then see how cosseted the public sector is.

risk their lives daily ?? don't make me laugh, the police in Cumbria didn't exactly put themselves out when the gunman was rampaging all over their patch, they just held up the white flag

This govenment is a disaster. They will totally tank the economy in 12 months for sure.

Who actually voted for this? People will get really angry as this government has no mandate to carry out such vicious cuts.

In view of the recent news thats pretty bad taste. As you obviously have no idea as to how the police deal with this type of incident.

Cameron is wrong: the public finances are better than we thought

So why does Cameron feel it necessary to use scare tactics instead? One presumes it’s because he’s aware of the political difficulty of imposing those cuts. Canada may have done pretty well in cutting its spending, but the process was extremely gruelling. Perhaps Cameron is still haunted by Mervyn King’s reported warning that the austerity that the election-winner would have to impose could make them so unpopular that they would ultimately find themselves ejected from power. But whatever his rationale, he has no excuse for misrepresenting economic reality.

Don't be fooled these cuts are not the only way. The coalition government are chosing to carry out these cuts and they don't even have a proper mandate.

All I know is that unnecessary lives were lost due to police incompetence, and these same police personnel are allowed to retire on gold plated pensions after just 30 years service ? some can start picking up their pension at 48, that's in bad taste .
